NO TIME I'M BUSY.

No time I’m busy

Dear friends, we live in the busy world. Today no time is a style word used by the little to the bigger people. No time ‘word’ comes from all the people whether they are busy or not. You will be happy if you say no time to TV, CELL PHONE, LAPTOP, FACE BOOK, and SMS. Then the parents will spend time with the family and children. One day a friend of mine was ready to go for bank exams at 10 am but he was searching his pen outside the garden where he lost. The time was fast going he was still searching his pen; I had scolded him to buy a new one and go the bank exam in right time to save his future. He acted according to the advice so now he is working in the bank as officer.
Dear friends our Lord Jesus Christ lived in this world three and a half years only but he achieved great plan of salvation to the mankind; without spending His time in waste. Today people are using the word “no time, I’m busy” to loose bible reading, prayer time, and church services. Today people are spending time in useless things and plans. So they lose the peace of mind and become tension with matter less matters. They are not satisfied, but they searching for infinite things that won’t satisfy them. Their hearts and minds filled with worries and anxieties; that leads them to forget God and His fellowship. So they have no time to seek God and his fellowship. Now they are busy for nothing.
There are 168 hours in each week. Fifty six of them we spend in sleep. Of the remaining 112 hours, we devote 48 to labor. This leaves 64 hours, of which let us assign 12 hours for our daily meals…is it too much to say that God requires a tithe of his people’s free time? One tenth of 52 hours is 5.2 hours. How much of this tithe of time do we devote to strictly religious uses? If one allowed an hour for church and an hour for a Bible reading (study) or prayer meeting each week, he or she would still have 192 minutes a week- enough for nearly a half hour each day in prayer and bible reading. Such a person would still have more than 45 hours a week for life’s chores and personal fun!” more often we give the old excuses, “no time, I’m very busy” or I have too little time.” But the real problem is too little planning of the time we have.
1.      TIME MANAGEMENT BY FULFILLING THE PURPOSE OF GOD: - for we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do – Eph 2:20. God has made each and every one of us for a reason. God gives us time, gifts and other resources according to our abilities and he expects us to invest them wisely until he returns. We are responsible to use well what God has given us. We are to use our time, talents and treasures diligently in order to serve God completely in whatever we do. It means doing our daily work out of love for God.
2.      TIME MANAGEMENT BY SUBMITTING TO HEAVENLY POTTER: - Yet, o Lord, you are our father. We are the clay, you are potter, and we are the work of your hand - IS 64:8. OUR LOVING God is the heavenly potter who molds our lives. Just as the clay is useless by itself but becomes a useful vessel when it yields itself to the potter. We are incapable of molding our lives. When we surrender ourselves, the body, mind and spirit in his divine hands, he molds us as useful vessels of honor and as vessels of worthy of his glory. When things are going well, we feel elated. When hardships come, we sink into depression. But true joy transcends the rolling waves of circumstances. Joy comes from a consistent relationship with Jesus Christ. Only through prayer and obedience of the word of God, our mind gets renewed and transformed into the likeness of Christ. Then only we can use the time in a right way and useful way.
3.      SOLOMON’S TIME MANAGEMENT: - To everything are a reason, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.  God’s favor is the one who discussed the ultimate emptiness of all that this world has to offer. He searched for satisfaction almost as though he was conducting a scientific experience. Through this process he discovered that without God is a long and fruitless search for enjoyment and fulfillment. What profit has he that work in that wherein he labors? God has given to the children of man to be busy with it. God has made everything beautiful in its time. Also he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
4.      Dear friends Mr THOMAS ALVA EDISON said that I could invent new things in this world, because I had worked hard without looking the clock. People who utilize the 24 hours in a planned right way would live like kings, but one who loses the time in laziness live like beggars.  We know that how we spend our times and wasting them good for nothing. King David had many works to do in everyday duty, but he set apart time for early hours of worshiping the Lord God and meditating God’s word day and night.

5.      Dear brothers and sisters if you are blessed by “no time I’m busy’ article, kindly send a word to me and share with others; please do not say “NO TIME I’M BUSY. MY ID. revsjc@gmail.com.

FAMILY WORSHIP

FAMILY WORSHIP

Dear friends in Joshua 24:15 we read like this, As for me,I and my household will serve the Lord God. Joshua himself challenges that I and my household will serve the Lord God of Israel; and he asks us a question that whom will you serves? Worship means live a life before the creator. We always take it granted that worship is only praising God almighty with songs and music. Worship is living for God the Almighty, sharing and following him faithfully. Let the burden of Joshua’s heart may be shared by us.
I would like bring 3 saintly families lived a worship by serving the Lord Almighty.

1.Abraham: - Abraham was a friend of God and father of faith, but God taught him a lesson by giving a spiritual duty. The spiritual duty is to teach his generation to know the Lord God and grow in his knowledge. We also engaged in worldly jobs and business and other carriers, but in that we have to teach our children to know God the Almighty and grow in his knowledge. It is our spiritual duty towards our generation. Like Abraham we too try to have family worship by fulfill the spiritual duty of teach our children to grow in the knowledge of God to serve him faithfully and live a life

2. Joshua: - Joshua challenged his people and family members called to choose this day whom you will serve. Joshua was a great leader of Israel; he proclaimed the challenge of choosing the right choice to serve the Lord God of Israel alone. Joshua determined to serve the Lord as himself and his household and the whole Israelite  Let us choose the right choice of serving the Lord God of Israel alone as a household.

3. Job: - Job prayed daily for his children and family. Job was a rich man. He was praying every day for his children and offered burnt offering for his children’s sins. Let us pray for our children and for their spiritual growth and for their blessings every day.
If we live a family worship then we will receive 3 kinds of blessings. 1. We can rise up faithful generation.-PS 78:5, 6, 7.
2. The presence of God will abide in our home.- Matt 18:20.
3. God’s blessing will be showered on our family. - Jeremiah 10:25. Dear children of God if you are blessed by living family worship sure you will receive these three kinds of blessing from the Lord Jesus Christ. Friends kindly send a word to my email ID if you are blessed by family worship. revsjc@gmail.com

57 CENTS CHURCH

57 cents Church

Dear children of God, greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. What God can do with 57 cents? Today I am going to answer the question with a true story which happened in America. In Philadelphia you can see the TEMPLE BAPTIST CHURCH where more than 4000 people can sit and worship the Lord freely. And you can see the temple university with thousands and thousands student are studying. There is a good Samaritan Hospital helping and serving many people those are in need. A special SUNDAY SCHOOL building for more than thousands children can sit and learn God’s word. These all the buildings are built and rise for the Glory of God with the 57 cents of poor girl HATTIE MARY WATT’S SAVINGS.

There was a small church in Philadelphia. A little girl was standing and weeping near the church. There came the pastor of that church and inquired the little girl about her crying. She told that I could not enter into this Sunday school as it is crowded. She was very poor. Her dress and hair style showed that she was very poor. As she was brought inside the church with help of the church pastor and she was placed in a better seat. But she was thinking of the thousands of children who could not come inside the church and sit comfortably in the Sunday school. She decided to bring all the children those stand outside of the church without getting seats to sit.  She was saving money little by little for the Sunday school children. Two years rolled out, she fell in sick and death captured her.
Her parents called her loved pastor to do the burial service. As she was moved from her bed to clean and lay in the coffin, there fell a little red purse. The pastor Dr.Russell H. Conwell took the little red purse from the ground. He found 57 cents and a written note. The little piece of paper read like this “this cents money may use for building a big church instead of this small one, so that more children can go to the Sunday school”.

With much love she gathered and saved 57 cents for the last two years. The pastor read the letter with tears and he determined to read it to the congregation on pulpit. He read the appeal of little girl and he explained about her sacrificial love for the Sunday school children. This news spread through the city newspaper. A rich man from the town read the newspaper and he bought a huge area for church building and gave it to the Baptist temple church for 57 cents. All the congregation members started to give more donations towards this new church building. This little girl’s sacrificial giving was grown into $ 2, 50 000 within five years. This was huge amount in the 18th c.

Dear friends, if you have time to visit Temple Baptist Church in Philadelphia, kindly do so it is a great witness for little girl Katie Mary Watt’s sacrificial love for Sunday school children. We can see her photo and loving and sacrificial face. And also can see her loving pastor Dr.Russell H. Conwell’s engrave photo.

Dear friends Jesus watched the poor widow who gave two pieces of coins and he appreciated. She gave more than others. Let us build the kingdom of God with our sacrificial giving. With 57 cents God can do great wonders? Are you ready to build the Kingdom of God with 57 cents? Katie Mary watt’s sacrificial giving is a great witness of Temple Baptist Church today. If you are blessed by this 57 cents church, kindly send a word to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com.

TRY PRAISE.

Try praise

Dear children of God let us try praise. Today humankind is trying many things in their day today life. But sometime they are very much fret up in trying things. Lastly they try to leave the trying. Today I like to give some examples from bible; who they tried praise in their life and achieved victory in their life. Psalmist says that I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Paul says that let there be thanksgiving and praise always.

The Moabites and ammonites, and with them some of the Meunites, came against Jehoshaphat for battle. And they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. And Jehoshaphat stood and said, hear me Israel, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe on the Lord your God, and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed. And when he taken counsel with people, he appointed those who were sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say, “Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever”. And when they began to sing and praise, the Lor4d set an ambush against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah, so that they were routed.
Henley ford was an effective missionary in all parts of the world .during the first war time; he was doing missionary work at Hong Kong. From Hong Kong he went to Siberia to meet his family by train. The travel was very hard and the security and military guard was very strict. On the way Henley ford was stopped by the Russian military forces. The soldiers enquired about him and they took his money and all his belongings. He did not know Russian language and they did not understand English. He lost all things and left alone, without knowing what to do. He remembered the word try praise. Suddenly he started to sing praise and give thanks to the Lord.  All the army soldiers looked him curiously. One of the Russian soldier came ran and asked him, pastor, and pastor. He replied and said that “ I am a pastor”. The soldiers gave back his money and his belongings and allowed him to continue his journey to his house.
Dear friends, let us try praise in our distress and difficult and problematic times. We will be delivered by our lord God. Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High, and call upon me in the days of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me. The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!”

Let us give thanks to the Lord and try praise always in our life to get victory. A young man went to Chennai to do business. He lost everything and he tried to finish his life. At that pathetic situation he walked towards the church, there he heard a word from the pastor why not you try praise in your life. That very same night he tried to give thanks and praise to Jesus for his love and mercy. The next day God did a miracle in his life.  He got a job  and lived happily. Dear friends why not you try praise. Today you will receive a miracle. If you are blessed by try praise, kindly share with others and send a word to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com

RISE AND BUILD

RISE UP AND BUILD

Dear children of God let us rise and build what  God wants and expected from us to do. Whatever the circumstances may come and whatever  we may face, let us be strong and rise up and build. Nehemiah received the call of God about repairing the wall of Jerusalem. The Lord had sought out for Himself a man after His own heart. God will place His plans in the minds of spiritual leaders and reveal it to them.

Nehemiah was very concern about God’s people, God’s city, and God’s works. He was very sad and distress about the pathetic conditions of the God’s people and city. Nehemiah was a man of action. He had a great capacity to identify with the troubles of others and the ability to do something about their plight. He determined a plan to do God’s works in God’s way with God’s people. Nehemiah was sure that he would not be able to do the work alone so he mobilized people of various kind to attain the goal of repairing the wall as per the command of God.

Within 52 days he achieved a great task of building and repairing the wall of Jerusalem. I am doing God’s great work; so I could not come’ this was his challenging and encouraging words for God’s people and God’s servants. He was very strong and firm in his decision and God’s great works. He did not do any work with his own efforts and with the power of money and authorities; he did with the help of God. He encouraged God’s people about God’s hand was with him and with his people.   At the outset Nehemiah spoke to the Officials, Priests and Nobles. His belief   was that leadership had to be motivated and they need to be lifted in their spirit. He exhorted them; Let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem.”
He did not talk to anyone about what God had put in his heart. Instead he did his homework, secretly at night; he made a survey of the damage and gathered full information. Nehemiah understood that the nobles had a very important role to play   in rebuilding wall. So he exhorted them as they stood together among the ruins.      Nehemiah knew the only way the walls could be built was by mobilising every man and woman and the child in the lead. He encouraged everyone to build the wall in front of their houses.
Nehemiah used the wisdom of God given to him to deal patiently through prayer. This made the enemies to realise that Nehemiah will complete the work with the help of God.    He did not compromise with the enemies and their plots. But he did not dismay or dis courage about the words of the enemies and their plots. He     boldly replied that “I am doing Great work of God, so I won’t come.  He made a covenant with people to follow God’s words and his promises.      He planned and arranged the God’s temple’s duties. When he finished the building of the wall of Jerusalem; he dedicated and consecrated the wall in the name of God, for the Glory of God.

Dear friends we are given responsibility to rise and build the families, societies, churches and governments which are ruin and destroyed. Like Nehemiah we need to bring reformers in families, societies, churches and governments. We must understand the God’s purpose and then motivate and encourage the leaders and the people to make a powerful force. This provides an inspiration about God’s work to accomplish through his people with oneness of heart and oneness of spirit. Nehemiah’s good experience demonstrates how believers accomplish seemingly impossible tasks if they do it together. Today are you ready to do the task of God with spirit of Nehemiah? If so, rise up and build the families, societies, churches and governments. Dear brothers and sisters, if you are blessed by this Nehemiah’s experience, then share with others and send a word to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com.
