HAPPY FAMILY

HAPPY FAMILY

Dear children of God happy family is the blessed family and being a blessed family to others. Happiness should be not only at the time of fullness but it should be in all circumstances, and all times, and all situations.    Happiness should be present in lack or want or in famine or in drought or in sickness.  We have to learn in whatever situation we are to be content. In any and every circumstance, we have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. Like Paul we have to say that I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Our God is faithful to lead us even in critical situations. World may change, our life style may change but our God who gives happiness in all situations won’t change.

GOD’S PROMISE: - God had promised to give happiness to Isaac and be blessed family.  When he received God’ promise, now there was a famine in the land, besides the former famine that was in the days of Abraham. God counseled Isaac, not to go down to Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell you. Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you, for to you and to your offspring I will give all these lands and in your off springs all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. Whose family has the presence of God in the family will be happy and blessed in all situations. God is with us in our low estate and abound. So we should not be anxious about our life situation, God will guide through the hard and dry situation. Naomi left the house of bread [Bethlehem] a famine in the land. She sojourned to the land of Moab with fullness. She did not get guidance with lord who leads through the famine. She remained there for ten years, her husband and her two sons were dead. Now she became empty and Mara. But the Lord had visited his people and given them food. God never leave us nor forsake us.

GOD’S PROTECTION: - the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.  Isaac has settled in Gerar. When the men of the place’ asked him about his wife, because she was attractive in appearance. Abimelech king of Philistines looked out of window and saw Isaac laughing with his wife Rebecca. So Abimelech warned all the people, saying, whoever touches this man or his wife shall surely be put to death. Isaac ‘family was happy in the foreign land, and God protected them from their enemies. God of Abraham was with him to protect from all danger situation. They were in the hand of God’s protection so they were very happy.

GOD’S HUNDRED FOLD BLESSINGS: - when Isaac obeyed God’s commandments and laws, God blessed all his works of hands in the famine year. Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundred fold. The Lord blessed him, and the man became rich, and gained more and more until he became very wealthy. So he called its name Rehoboth, saying, for now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land. Where Isaac had stayed in the land of famine, there God was with him to make him happy and blessed. So he became mightier than the Philistines, and lived happily. The happy family always obeys the voice of God and keeps his commandments. The happy family depends on God for guidance to follow in the difficult situations. A God who called us will lead through the hardship and entirely different situations and he makes happy in our life. From there he went up to Beersheba, and the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will bless and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham’s sake.

Dear friends the same God of Abraham, God of Isaac is with our family and he makes our family happy. And also he will instruct us and teach us in the way we should go; he will counsel us with his eyes upon us. When we pass through the waters, he will be with us; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm us; when we walk through the fire we shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume us. Fear not he has redeem us; he has called us by name, so let us be happy and rejoice in him. When God be with us in all situations, then our family will be a happy family. BEAUTIFUL GATE

 BEAUTIFUL GATE

Dear children of God today we are going to enter into a beautiful gate to see the Lord Jesus’ doing, and Peter and John exalting Holy Name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. In Jerusalem temple there are nine gates are leading to the main entrance of Holy place. Eight gates are 45 ft height and women entrance is 75 ft height. The main gate of women entrance is called beautiful gate. This main beautiful entrance was made by the Corinth city bronze pillars. This beautiful gate entrance was towards east. The early morning sun beams will reflect in the bronze gate and glows like a flaming fire looks beautiful. So this main entrance gate was called beautiful gate. The main entrance people were gathering for prayer three times in a day.

At age of forty:- many people were gathered for prayers and others were looking for helps and alms from the people who were coming to the prayers. A man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at the beautiful gate in the temple, to ask alms of those entering the temple. He never entered into the temple for prayer or worships the Lord God until his forty years. At age of forty he never expected healing, but he expected only alms for his living. A lame person can do only to beg the people for his living on those days. So he asked the people alms to help his living. If we were in that condition we curse our birth, and our unable condition. But his duty on everyday to come to the temple’s main entrance called beautiful gate to beg alms from the people those who come for prayer. Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms. No need to wait up to forty years or more, today the healing power of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is available for us at gate of beautiful gate. Come to beautiful gate and look at Jesus Christ, he will heal us.

NO SILVER AND GOLD:-  Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, “ look at us “and he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold” but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk! And he took him by his right hand and raised him up, immediately his feet and ankles were made strong. He was leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and enter the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. At age of forty, the first time in his life, he entered in to the temple praising God and worshiped him. Neither silver nor gold could not give healing to walk, to leap or to praise God. But only the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth could give him complete healing to walk, to leap and to praise God. Dear friends neither silver nor gold can heal our lame by birth, but the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Let us look to Jesus Christ who can heal our lame and give strength to our legs and ankles. He is the God of healing let us look unto him today; he will perform a miracle in our life.

PETER AND JOHN EXALTED THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST:- All the people saw him walking and praising God, and recognized him as the one who sat at beautiful gate of the temple, asking for alms. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. Men of Israel, why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we have made him walk? The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered over and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him. But you denied the Holy and righteous one and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, and you killed the author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses. His name- by faith in his name- has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all.

Peter filled with the Holy Spirit and said to them, ‘ rulers of the people and elders, if we are being examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed. Let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead- by him this man is standing before you well. This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Dear friends exalt Jesus’ name, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Through this miracle the beautiful gate really shone by the name of Jesus Christ. No more lame, no more weakness, no more crying for living, but now only praising God with walking, leaping and praising God whom healed him. Let us enter into the beautiful gate with praising and exalting Jesus’ name who gives healing and salvation. If you are blessed by this beautiful gate kindly introduce with your friends and relatives and let me know your comments send to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah484@yahoo.com,

LITTLE FIRE

LITTLE FIRE

Dear friends today we are going to quench the little fire which will destroy the whole body. Using the fire must be very careful; if we use the fire carelessly then we have to reap the consequences. So dear friends let us learn, how to use the fire very useful way that bring us blessing to our life. Tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a little fire? The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell.

Today let us try to tame the tongue and it must, otherwise it will set fire and destroy everything. This tongue is very little and it has no veins, so it will speak in two different ways. We should be very careful about this; otherwise it will bring vain debates, enmity, strife’s, and jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions and envy.  Tongue is a small part of our body, but it sets fire on families, society, clans, tribes, countries and world.
We all stumble in many ways, and if any one does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body. If we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we guide their whole bodies as well. Look at the ships also: though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs. So also the tongue is a small member, yet boasts of great things. Every kind of beast and bird, of reptile sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by the mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.  With it we bless our lord and father, and with it curse people who are made in the likeness of God.

From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, these things ought not to be so. “Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? Can a fig tree, my brothers and sisters, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water? Do not speak evil against one another, brothers or sisters. The one who speaks against a brother or sister, or judges his brothers or his sisters speaks evil against the law and judges the law. How great a forest is set blaze by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness.

If anyone thinks he is a religious and does not bridal his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless. How many times we hurt others with our tongue? How many times we set fire in other families and lives? We just think of it and repent from this kind of evil habits. Otherwise the same little fire will consume our families and lives. Like David let us pray to God, set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips![PS141:3]  A Tamil proverb says like this: the scar of fire will heal, but the scar of words won’t heal. Learn to speak soft words, harsh words will be adding oil in the fire to burn more. A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.Dear friends let us use the tongue very carefully and let it bring glory to God.  Once a husband came from the duty, and he was wet. When he came to the house, his wife said oh you are wet like a lamb. He replied in anger, am I look like a lamb?  This like conversation quarrel started in the family. When debates start we have to stop our words, not to prolong things to set fire in the family. We are called to live as children of God, so we should be careful about our tongue and words. Learn to tame our wild tongue which sets fire. I said, I will guard my ways that I may not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth with muzzle, so long as the wicked are in my presence.[Ps39:1] dear friends if you are blessed by this message kindly introduce with your friends and relatives, and please let me know your comments send to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com johnchelliah484@yahoo.com

ASTROLOGY

ASTROLOGY

ASTROLOGY

Dear children of God the uncertainties among people are increasing day by day. Things are fast changing; today’s man or thing is not there tomorrow. A kind of fear is gripped among people and they wander here and there to find a solution for this. The day today incidents and situations are frightening them and many are in search of safety and peace. Becoming frantic, they ultimately approach the so called soothsayers, observer of times and astrologers for a solution.Once two friends both post graduates were seeking for a job. One is history graduate and another is science graduate both applied for a job in a college and they were appointed. The joining duty on Saturday was the first of the month. The history graduate was an observer of day and times, so he seeks for the good day and good time, and he joined duty on Monday. But the science graduate joined duty on Saturday the first of the month. Years went by what happened; there was a selection for the post of principal in that college. Both were applied for the post of principal of that college. Board and selection committee appointed the science graduate as a principal of the college; it was purely on the bases of the seniority of the appointed and joining duty. Saturday joined duty science graduate became a principal and he continued as a principal, after ten years service he retired from the post. The seeker and observer of good days and times retired from the college without getting the principal post. This happened in our place, and this observer of days and times are becoming ashamed about their belief and trust.

It is very unfortunate to note that in India the politicians and the film personalities are the bunch of people who are always go in search of these soothsayers. This trend has spread among the Indian cricketers’ business men, even the common personalities too. What a pathetic condition this is? The point here is about the Christian folks: even among some of the so called Christians there are a good number of people who are after such people. They seek the guidance of astrologers, tarot readers and other soothsayers to know their future. For their children’s education, marriage, and other family auspicious occasion’s dates etc they consult these astrologers.Such Christians must note that they are forgetting the fact that God is the one who controls everything and he is the one who decide about the future of every creature who are in his hands. God created the sun, moon and stars to give light to the world. But alas people depend upon them to know their future. What a pathetic state. They cannot save themselves nor can’t save others; indeed it faces the wrath of God. A child of God is controlled and guided by the spirit of God, not by the creations of the world. Creations should seek the face of the creator, not the stars, sun, moon or any other living or non-living.Therefore, occult knowledge like astrology, tarot cards readers ECT are off limit for a Christian and believer. It should not influence the real Christians and believers. Isaiah’s emphasis is to use God’s written word as the standard to judge the spiritual truths. “Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. And when they say to you, seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in [Isaiah [8:16, 19-20]Dear friends, the sad fact is that most of their predictions do not come true; still people are rushing madly towards these soothsayers. The sad part is that, if we take a keen look into these soothsayer’s predictions 99% of them are never fulfilled as they predicted. Still the people are in search of these people and their predictions. Here is the warning to such people.  There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or the use divination, or an observer of times and days, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or wizard, or a necromancer. For that entire do these things are an abominations the Lord thy God does drive them out from before you. Let us obey God’s words and put our trust on the Lord our God who holds our future. If you are blessed by this article, kindly introduce with your friends and relatives and please let me know your comments send to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah484@yahoo.com,

10 DELIGHTED WOMEN

10 DELIGHTED WOMEN

Dear children of God great pleasure to introduce ten delighted women who were served Lord the almighty God with love and faith and won the favor from the eyes of the God. Let us learn to love our God and serve Him alone with faith to win his favor. Let us have to build our house with their exemplary life.

          1. Sarah: -

God said to Abraham, as for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name. I will bless her, and moreover, I will give you a son by her, and she shall become nations; kings of people shall come from her. By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore. For this how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn them, by submitting to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord and you are her children, if you do well and do not fear anything that is frightening.

   2. Rebbecca:-

Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife, because she was barren. The Lord granted his prayer, and Rebbecca his wife conceived. The children struggled together within her, and said, if it is thus, why is this happening to me? So she went to inquire of the lord, and the Lord said to her, : two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you shall be divided; the older shall serve the younger. Her prayer life was adorned by the Lord.

     3. Ruth:-

Boaz said to Ruth, “ May you be blessed by the Lord, my daughter, do not fear you have made this last kindness  great than the first in that  you have not gone after young men, whether poor or rich. Boa z answered to Ruth, “All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been told fully to me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before. The Lord repay you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the Lords,  the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!”

     4. Rahab:-

Rahab’s name entered into the faith warriors’ list. By faith she did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.

      5. Jael:-

The most blessed of women was Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, of tent –dwelling women most blessed. Sis era asked water and she gave him milk; she brought him curds in a nobles’ bowl. She sent her hand to the tent peg and her right hand to the work men’s mallet; she struck his head; she shattered and pierced his temple.

    5. Hannah:- Elka nah wife Hannah was a barren, the Lord has closed her womb. So she was deeply distressed and prayed to the Lord and wept bitterly, and she vowed a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction on your servant and remember me and forget your servant, but give a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall touch his head. Lord answered her prayer and he has granted her petition that she made for this child, therefore she has lent him to the Lord. As long as he lives, he lent to the lord and he worshiped the Lord there.

    7. Abigail: - Nabal’s wife was Abigail, the woman was discerning and beautiful, but the man was harsh and badly behaved. Abigail said to David please forgive the trespass of your servant, the Lord has restrained you from blood guilt and from saving with your own hand, now then let your enemies and those who seek to do evil to my lord be as Nabal. And David said to Abigail, blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who sent you this day to meet me! Blessed be your discretion, and blessed be you, who have kept me this day from blood guilt and from avenging myself with my own hand. She has saved her family from destruction.

       8. Esther:- Esther who fast and prayed for her people to deliver from them from destruction. Then Esther told them to reply Mordecai, go gather, all the Jews to be found in Sosa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my young women will also fast as you do. Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law, and if I perish, I perish.

      9. Elizabeth:- Zechariah had a wife from the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and statues of the Lord. But they have no child, because Elizabeth was barren and both were advanced in years. After these days Elizabeth conceived, and for five months she kept herself hidden, saying, thus the Lord has done for me in the days when he looked on me to take away my reproach among people.

1  10. Prisca:- prisca and Aqulla, who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks but all the churches of the gentiles give thanks as well.

Dear friends let us take a challenge to follow the footsteps of faith warriors and prayer life to be delighted by our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfected of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne.

Dear brothers and sisters, if you are blessed by this ten delighted women's’ witness, please introduce with your friends and relatives and let me know your comments kindly send to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah484@yahoo.com,

LAST WORD [AMALEKITE]

LAST WORD [Amalekite]

Dear friends and children of God, what will be our last word, we hear? We may not aware of our death bed and the last word what we are going to hear. But it is true each and every one of us going to hear the last word in our ear. Whether we like it or not, sure we are going hear the last word. The bible says in 2samuel1:10.king Saul heard the last word on Mount Gilboa, and there was Saul leaning on his spear, and behold him called and asked me who are you? I answered him I am an Amalekite.

The word Amalekite reminded Saul about his disobedience of God ‘words. Wherever, whenever and whatever we disobeyed God’s word will hear as our last word. What was the commandment toward the Amalekite to Saul to obey? Thus says the Lord of hosts, I have noted what Amalek did to Israel in opposing them on the way when they came up out of Egypt. Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill man and woman, child and infant, Ox and sheep, camel and donkey. Saul defeated the Amalekite from Havilah as far as shur, which is east to Egypt. He took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive and devoted to destruction all the people with the edge of the sword.

But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep and of the oxen and the fattened calves and the lambs, and all that were good, and would not utterly destroy them. All that was despised and worthless they devoted to destruction. The word of the Lord came to Samuel: “I regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned back from following me and has not performed my commandments. Samuel was angry, and he cried to the lord all night. Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning. Samuel came to Saul and Saul said to him, “blessed are you to the Lord. I have performed the commandments of lord. Samuel said to him, what then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears and the lowing of the oxen that I hear? Saul said, “They have brought them from Amalekites, for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen to sacrifice to the Lord your God, and the rest we have devoted to destruction. Then Samuel said, stop! I will tell you what the Lord said to me this night.

Though you are little in your own eyes are you not the head of the tribes of Israel? The Lord anointed you king over Israel, and the Lord sent you on a mission and said, ‘ go, devote to destruction the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed. Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord? Why did you pounce on the spoil and do what was evil in the sight of the Lord? Saul said, I have obeyed the voice of the Lord. I have gone on the mission on which the Lord sent me. I have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and I have devoted the Amalekies to destruction. But the people took the spoil, sheep and oxen, the best of the things devoted to destruction, to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal.

Samuel said, has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams. Rebellion is as the sin of divination and presumption is as iniquity and idolatry.  Because you have rejected the word of God, he has also rejected you from being king.

Dear friends in the time of Saul’s death, finally whom he saw? He saw an Amalekite. He went by his side and Saul called him and asked who are you?  He said I am an Amalaeite. This was the last word Saul heard. Because of his disobedience of God’s commandments, he spared the Amalekite king Agag. Disobedience is not blessing but it is a sin that leads us to destruction. God says here that obedience is better than sacrifice. On the time of King Saul’s death, he heard the last word Amalekite, reminded him about his disobedience and his sins. Lastly he was killed by the spared Amalekite. What we hide in the presence of God will reveal in the time of our death bed. Wages of our sins is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.Dear brothers and sisters let us learn a lesson from this last word ‘Amalekite’. We have to give an account to the Lord our God. What all the evil things we do in our life will seen and hearken in the time of our death bed. We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what we have done in the body, whether good or evil.[1cor5:10] let us remember these words of God, and obey the commandments of God to hear the last word of our savior’s word, come, you who are blessed by my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Amen. If you are blessed by this last word kindly introduce with your friends and relatives, and please let me know your comments send to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah484@yahoo.com,

ONE THING

ONE THING

Dear children of God people are searching for the one thing most precious and needed for life. Jesus wants us to get the most needed one that is the good portion that cannot be taken from us. Everybody wants to get the good and most precious portion. Choosing the one thing is varied from one to another. Some people chose eternal thing but others chose the worldly things. Dear children, today you must determine the one thing and chose right one thing, which should be needed for life.

King David has asked one thing from God that he will seek after; that he may dwell in the house of God all the days of his life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. That was his wants and thirsts. All the saints and holy people have longed to gaze the glory and beauty of the lord and they have seen the glory and beauty of the Lord. Where can we see the glory of God? David reveals that first he will dwell in the house of God all the days of his life, to gaze the beauty of the Lord. Living all days of his life in the presence of God, that is the house of the Lord. Let us have the same longing to ask God one thing to dwell in the house God to gaze his beauty and glory of God. Moses prayed to the Lord and saying that Oh lord I want to see your glory please you show me. God revealed his glory of his backside and as he passed over Moses. What you ask in prayer one thing from God? Like David we shall ask the Lord to seek after; to dwell in the house of God and to gaze the beauty of the lord all the days of our life.

Jesus said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is needed. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her. Like Martha we are anxious and troubled about many things in the world. We have worried about our day today livings and our families, children and their needs. But Jesus advises us not to anxious or troubled about many things. But one is needed. That is the good portion, which will not be taken away from us. One thing good portion is to sit at the Lord’s feet and listen to his teachings. Dear friends do we have time to sit at the feet of Jesus to listen to his teachings. Let us sit at the feet of Jesus to get one thing good portion, which will not be taken away from us.

Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Paul reminds us to do one thing to pressing on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Our citizenship and goal end is in heaven; from it we await a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject to all things to himself.

Jesus said them a parable, saying, the land of a rich man produced plentifully, and he thought to himself, what I shall do, for I have nowhere to store my crops? And he said I will do one thing: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grains and my goods. I will say to my soul, soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry. But God said to him, fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be? So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God. If we follow the rich man and do one thing to store up things to eat, drink, be merry to enjoy the life then doing many things will lead to perish. Or we follow Paul’s saying of whatever gain I had, counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For this I do one thing: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Dear friends let us keep these things in our mind to do one thing to seek the glory of God and dwell in the house of God to gaze his beauty of the Lord, all the days of our life. Then Jesus will give one thing a portion, which will not be taken from us. For that let us sit at the feet of Jesus to listens his teachings and press forward to the goal, that we may obtain one day. Praise the Lord.Dear friends if you are blessed by this one thing introduce to your friends and relatives and let me please know your comments and send to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah484@yahoo.com
