PRAYER BRINGS VICTORY

PRAYER BRINGS VICTORY

Dear children of God prayer is a sweet experience sharing with God. In prayer we speak to God and have fellowship with him. Adam and eve had fellowship with God in the cool of the day. God walked in the Garden and they walked along with God. Enoah walked with the Lord365 years. This fellowship and presence of God gives the victory in the human’s life. Daniel learned this and spent time with God three times every day in prayer. Let us learn to spend time with God every day in our life and we can lead a victorious life.

All the presidents of the kingdom, the prefects and the satraps, the counselors and the governors are agreed that the king should establish an ordinance and enforce an injunction, that whosoever makes petition to any god or man for thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the lion’s den. Now, O king, establish the injunction and sign the document, so that it cannot be revoked. Therefore king Darius signed the document and injunction. When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God; as he had done previously. Then these men came by agreement and found Daniel making petition and plea before his God. Then king command, and Daniel was brought and cast into the den of lion. The king declares to Daniel, Oh servant of living God, may your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions? Then Daniel said to the king. O king, My God sent his angel and shut the lion’ mouths, and they have not harmed me.

Daniel’s prayer brought him victory and God answered the individualer’s prayer and sent his angel into the lion’s den to shut the lion’s mouths and have not to harm him. Any individualer prays to God, and he answers the prayer and gives him or her victory over their enemies and changes the rules of the government upside down. Then the king Darius wrote to all the peoples, all languages that dwell in all earth; I make a decree, that in all my royal domination people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel, for he is the living God, enduring forever; his kingdom shall never be destroyed, and his dominion shall be to the end. He delivers and rescues; he works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, he who has saved Daniel from the power of the lions.

Our God not only hears the prayers of individuales, and he hears the prayers of groups and brings victory.  Herod the king laid violent hands on some who belonged to the church. He killed James, the brother of John with the sword, and when he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter also. This was the season of unleavened bread. And when he had seized him, he put him in prison, delivering him over to fours squad of soldiers to guard him, intending after the Passover to bring him out to the people. So Peter was kept I n the prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church.

Now when Herod was about to bring him out, on that very night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers bound with two chains, and sentries before the doors were guarding the prison. And behold an angel of the Lord stood near to him, and a light shone in the cell.  He struck Peter o n the side and woke him, saying “get up quickly”. And the chains fell off his hands. And the angel said to him, “dress yourself and put on your shoes.” wrap your cloak around you and follow me. And he went out and followed him. He did not know that what was being done by the angel was real. When they passed the first and the second guard, they came to the Iron Gate leading into the city. It opened for them of its own accord, and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel left him. When peter came to himself, he said, now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and fro m all that the Jewish people were expecting.

Peter went to the house of Mary, the mother of john mark where many were gathered together and were praying. A group of people were praying for peter’s release from the prison and no one could go inside the prison but God sent his angel inside the prison cell itself, and the chains were loosed and gates were open accordingly. Peter came outside with great victory. Now when the day came, there was no little disturbance among the soldiers over what had become of peter. And searched for him and did not find him. He examined the sentries and ordered that they should be put to death.

Dear friends’ prayer always brings victory to all who seek God diligently. Today, how about our prayer life? Our God, who is hearing our prayers, answering our prayers, and brings victory in our life. Prayer is a sweet time to enjoy the presence of God, Who holds our breath and life in his hand. So let us come to our Lord with confident, he is a God who gives victory over sufferings, helpless time, and people and government against us. Let us not weary in prayers but wait upon the Lord, and they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. MARA [BITTERNESS]

 MARA [BITTERNESS]

Dear children of God, greetings in the sweet name of Jesus Christ, and who is able to turn our bitterness into sweetness. Some people live in bitterness, talk in bitterness, walk in bitterness, and going through the experience of bitterness and end up with bitterness. Our God does not want us to live in bitterness and go through bitterness. He changes things in our life, only thing we have to trust him who changes bitterness into sweetness. We need not to go through the bitterness always. The time will come; God brings people from Mara to Elim where we can find springs of water and sweet dates. Great triumph over pharaoh and Egyptians brought Israel people to rejoice and dance, but the rejoicing stopped when they faced life as they traveled in the wilderness three days without water to drink. They started to murmur against God and God’s servants Moses and Aaron and they showed their bitterness to them in words and deeds. They did not trust the Lord who was traveling along with them.

Then Moses made Israel set out from the red sea, and they went into the wilderness of Shur. They went three days in the wilderness and found no water. When they came to Mara, they could not drink water of Mara because it was bitter. And the people grumbled against Moses, and saying, what shall we drink? Moses cried unto the Lord, and the Lord showed a tree [log] and he cut and threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. To remove our bitterness from our life, a shoot from the stump of Jesse, cutoff on the cross, and threw into our life to bring sweetness. Trust Jesus, he is the one cutoff on the cross [tree] and gave his life to change our bitterness. Don’t be anxious and grumble against God, he is walking along with you in your life’s journey.

Bitter water became sweet, not only that he brought them from Mara to Elim where they found twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they encamped there by the water. When God changes our bitterness, he brings plenty of springs of joy and sweetness. So dear children, throw away all your bitterness, just come to the lord, and say to him Oh! Lord gives me sweetness and takes away the bitterness from me. Surely he is able to give sweetness plenty. We should not forget that one who is able to change our bitter experience into sweet blessing one. So let us remove all our grumblings, and murmurings to trust the Lord who leads us in the wilderness with sweet water and plenty of water springs and date fruits.

Naomi means sweetness. Sweetness became Mara in Naomi’s life. Because she left the house of bread [Bethlehem] and the supplier of bread of life. Why she left the house of bread and the bread of life?      It because of famine in the land, she did not depend upon the Lord who supplies our needs. But she looked at the flourished land called Mo ab. There she settled for ten years, and within ten years she lost her husband and her two sons. Now she says that don’t call me Naomi but Mara, for the Lord Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me. Because I went to Moab with fullness and sweetness but I am emptied and filled with bitterness. Why call me Naomi? But God did not allow ending up her life with bitterness, and God intervened into her life to bring sweetness in her life. Jesus said that I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. Israelite people wandered in the wilderness with thirst and hunger, but God satisfied their soul with bountiful blessings. He says that whoever comes to him and whoever believes in him will not hunger and thirst.[JOHN6:35 ]

Dear children of God let us check ourselves to look back our God who supplies our needs without fail. Naomi’s generation built up through her daughter-in-law Ruth and it became our Lord Jesus Christ’s genealogy. How her bitterness changed into sweetness? It’s wonderful because she returned to the house bread and the bread of life. Today we may face this kind of bitter experience in our day today journey and life. But don’t forget, we have a God who is able to meet and supply our needs, and changes our bitterness into sweetness. When Mara comes in our life, please wait there should be an Elim with springs of sweet waters and plenty of fruits of dates. If you are blessed by this message kindly introduce it with your friends and relatives, and please don’t forget to send your comments to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, rev12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah484@yahoo.com,

CONQUERORS

CONQUERORS

Dear friends’ sufferings are part of the world’s life, but we are looking for a world without sufferings, but it’s filled with joy and happiness. That world of joy and happiness is prepared by our Lord Jesus Christ. In this world we undergo various kinds of sufferings, which may be put upon us by the people or the situations or any other reasons. Some time it may be our sins and other deeds which we did without our notice. God does not want us to suffer, un necessarily, and saves from our sufferings. Some he allows sufferings and troubles to become pure gold. When we suffer with Christ, he breaks, and moulds us to pure, holy and useful for his purpose. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth Comparing, with the glory that is to be revealed to us. [Romans8:18] When we go with him, God will refine us unto Christ’s image. For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exists in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering. Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered. Now we have to learn the lesson through sufferings. Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trail when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.  But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. To become blessings, to others Jesus came forward to suffer for others and he gave his life on the cross, and he gives joy and gladness to those under sufferings and troubles.

Now let us hear the witness from the blind widow Mrs. Amutha venugopal. 2007 on 15th august, while our country was celebrating her independence day, she was deeply sinking in the darkness and sorrows. Why because just before her husband was buried, as he was affected by lungs cancer and died. She was blind widow without job and having two children [one boy 8 and one girl 4]. She went the esteem of emptiness, she asked God question, why God failed in her life? Why? She has no vision, no job, no husband, and her children have no father why? So her fears about future, question about her past were pushed to decide not to read Bible, not to pray or do any to ministry of God. But Jesus never failed in her life. In the mean time God opened a way for her to do ministry in the Missionary Uphold Trust. In MUT various organization Missionaries, evangelists, church works, pastors, and other ministers of god, those who are sick and take treatment in Vellore Christian medical college hospital, are staying and taking treatment. Among sick patients she go and share the word of God, and to comfort them and pray for their healings. Even though she was in the comfortless state, she went to comfort them in their anxiety and sufferings and she became a great blessing and great comfort.

Dear children of God, God want us to be blessings to others even in our sufferings and anxieties. Like Joseph we also be blessing to others. He was sold as a slave to potiphar and put in to the jail with false acquisition, in all his suffering, he came forward to help the cup-bearer and the baker who were troubled because of their visions. Joseph comforted them and revealed the meanings of their visions and it came to pass as he was told. Today let us not worry about our sufferings and troubles and try to learn to cast your burdens and anxieties on the Lord who bored on the cross. And just look at the cross and we will say Lord you bored our worries and sorrows. Praise the Lord Jesus.Dear friends, when I suffered with renal failure, I lost my hope and I went near to death, but God had mercy on me, that lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. But thanks are to God who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among “those who are being saved among “those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a

fragrance from life to life.Dear friends let us say along with the Paul, No; in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us the love of God in Christ Jesus our lord. REMIND ME OH LORD

·        REMIND ME OH LORD

·        REMIND ME OH LORD

Dear children of God, God wants to remind about our day of birth and growth and stages of youth and old and finally about our death and Day of Judgment. God reminded Israelite to remember the days of old; consider the years of many generations; ask your father, and he will show you. Your elders and they tell you. Let us turn back to our births days and how God had mercy on us to save our life from many dangers, sickness and deaths. We cannot boost ourselves, but we humble ourselves to say it’s because of his immense grace alone.

And as for your birth, on the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were washed with water to cleanse you, nor rubbed with salt, nor wrapped in swaddling clothes. No eye pitied you, to do any of these things to you out of compassion for you, but you were cast out on the open field, for you were abhorred, on the day you were born. Dear brothers and sisters this was our condition on the day of our birth and no one pitied to save our life, out of compassion but Only God” he gave life to us. Let us remember this and give thanks to the lord.

Again God wants to remind us and saying that when I passed by and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you in your blood, “live” I said to you in your blood,” live. I made you flourish like a plant of the field. And you grew up and become tall and arrived at full adornment, your breasts were formed, and your hair had grown; yet you were naked and bare. God hands only gave life to us to live, because he said to us “live” otherwise we might have been become sand to sands, dust to dusts, ash to ashes. Let us praise God for his gift of our life.

When I passed by you again and saw you, behold, you were at the age of love, and spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your nakedness; I made my vow to you and enter into a covenant with you declares the Lord our God and you became mine. God provides us food, clothes and shelter to products us to live a flourish life, and he makes a vow of covenant to keep up the relationship to live. But we forgot our God who gave life to live, and broke the covenant which he made with us. God reminds us to look back what God has done for us.
Then I bathed you with water and washed off your blood and anointed with oil, clothed with embroidered cloth and cover with silk. I adorned you with ornaments and put bracelets on you wrist and a chin on your neck and a beautiful crown on your head. You ate fine flour and honey and oil and you grew exceedingly beautiful and advanced to royalty. And your renown went forth among the nations because of your beauty, for it was perfect through the splendor that I have bestowed on you, declares the Lord God. Let us remember the God’s bestowed blessings upon us. Silver and gold and other precious ornaments and beautiful houses, cars and other luxury things are blessing God who bestowed upon us. God crowned with glory and fames of splendors around the world.

But you trusted in your beauty and played the whore because of your renown and lavished your Whorings on any passersby. And in all your abominations and your whorings you did not remember the days of your youth, when you were naked and bare; wallowing in your blood. God said to Israel people that you have broken the covenant which I have made with you and you have gone astray. God reminds them to return back to him and he will restore the covenant with them to live again. For thus says the Lord: I will deal with you as you have done, you who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant, yet I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish for you an everlasting covenant. Then you remember your ways and ashamed when you take your sisters, both elder and younger.

The most king Philip, father of Alexander the great had appointed a man in his palace for a special purpose. What was his duty in the palace, do you know that? Each and every day morning he must stand before the most king Philip to say him, the most honorable king, sometime today maybe your death day, kindly remember this, and just remind you to do the duties what you have to do today and prepared to meet the death. King Philip had arranged a man to remind him to do the duty what he has to do every day without postpone, and even he ready to face the death that day. That was his main purpose to appoint a man to remind him.

Jesus told them a parable, saying, “The land of a rich man produced plentifully, and he thought to himself, what I shall do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?  And he said, I will do this; I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grains and my goods. And I will say to my soul, soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat and drink, be merry. But god said to him,” fool’ This night’ your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be? Jesus reminded the rich about his death. Today he reminds us to do what is right in the sight of God. The end of the matter; all has been heard. “Fear God and keep his commandments, for this are the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.

Dear children of God let us remember our birth status, childhood, youth and now what we are, it because of our God who has given life to live. So let us turn back to God, and repent from our doing of breaking the covenant with God. Let us fear God and keep his commandments, for this are the duty of man and woman, for God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil. God reminds us to remember our creator in our youth days, before the evil days to come.
