APPOINTED TIME

Dear children of God, let us submit ourselves to the God’s appointed time to receive the blessings from him.  God has an appointed time for all his blessings purpose and plans. “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heavens:” God has his own appointed time in the life of his children. God will bless you in the right time. He wants to lift up you in right time. He will bring you out of your problems at the right time. There is a time for everything. let us watch how the chick comes out of an egg? and the young butterflies come out of a green Caterpillar. In the same way we have to determine our time in the presence of God and we should lead our life accordingly. The people of Israel were lived in the bondage of Egypt was 430 years. When the God’s appointed time has come, at the end of 430 years, on that very day, all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.

APPOINTED TIME FOR JOSEPH:-  Joseph, being 17 years old, was pasturing the flock with his brothers. Jacob made him a robe of many colors. But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any other of his sons, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him. Now Joseph had a dream: behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and behold, my sheaf arose and stood upright. And behold, your sheaves gathered around it and bowed down to my sheaf. His brothers said to him, “Are you indeed to rule over us? Or are you indeed to reign over us? Then he had another dream, behold, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars were bowing down to me.  God had an appointed time to fulfill his dreams. It had taken 13years to fulfill his dreams. When he summoned a famine on the land and broke all the supply of bread, he had sent a man ahead of them, Joseph who was sold as a slave. His feet were hurt with fetters; his neck was put in a collar of iron; until what he had said came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. The king sent and released him; the ruler of the peoples set him free; he made him lord of his house and ruler of his possessions, to bind his princes at his pleasure and to teach his elders wisdom. And Joseph’s brothers came and bowed themselves before him with their faces to the ground. Now Joseph was governor over the land, and he remembered the dreams that he had dreamt of them. When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they came and fell down before him and said, behold, we are your servants. But Joseph said to his brothers, “do not fear, for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive as they are today. God had the right appointed time to lift up Joseph to rule over his people. Dear brothers and sisters, do not afraid, God will rise you up in the right time wait.
APPONTED TIME FOR JESUS:-   Humble your selves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the appointed time  he may  exalt you. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus. Who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him  the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Like Jesus Christ, let us humble and obey under the mighty hand of God, so that at the appointed time, he will exalt us high.
Dear beloved ones, when we do something for God he will bless us at his appointed time. If God has to pour blessings in our lives at the right time then we must be reverent in God’s work. Our God diligently looks at all our efforts. God even count our tears. If we do not measure to his standards, God will say, I will lay you in scale and you were short. It rains at the appointed time. The field is ready, but we must sow at the right time. Otherwise we cannot reap at the right time of harvest. If you do not sow today, how will you be able to reap tomorrow? How will God lift you up, if you do not serve God today? Let us not become weary in doing well, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come. God has his appointed time for his children. Pray for your appointed time to come. God has a vision and a plan for our lives. We should fix a time for God. There is no blessing without hard works. There is no blessing if we do not pray. There is no blessing if we do not give our offerings to him in a right time. There is no blessing if we do not honor him. Will you pray for your appointed time to come?

Dear friends, God has his right appointed time for our lives to exalt high, so let us wait for right time to come. Do not be weary in doing good. let us go forward towards our goal, doing God’s will, he will rise us up in a right time. He won’t delay in his appointed time.  If you are exalted in a God’s appointed time, please share this Good news to your friends and relatives and send me a word to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah857@yahoo.com.

Dear children of God, let us know about the     Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas and simply "Santa", is a figure with legendary, mythical, historical and folkloric origins who, in many western cultures, brings gifts to the homes of the good children during the late evening and overnight hours ofChristmas Eve, December 24.[1] The modern figure was derived from the Dutch figure ofSinterklaas,[2] which, in turn, was part of its basis in hagiographical tales concerning the historical figure of Christian bishop and gift giver Saint Nicholas. A nearly identical story is attributed by Greek Orthodox and Byzantine Christian folklore to Saint Basil of Caesarea. Basil's feast day on January 1 is considered the time of exchanging gifts in Greece.
Santa Claus is generally depicted as a portly, joyous, white-bearded man - sometimes withspectacles - wearing a red coat with white collar and cuffs, white-cuffed red trousers, and black leather belt and boots (images of him rarely have a beard with no moustache). This image became popular in the United States and Canada in the 19th century due to the significant influence of Clement Clarke Moore's 1823 poem "A Visit From St. Nicholas" and of caricaturist and political cartoonist Thomas Nast.[3][4][5] This image has been maintained and reinforced through song, radio, television, children's books and films.
According to a tradition which can be traced to the 1820s, Santa Claus lives at the North Pole, with a large number of magical elves, and nine (originally eight) flying reindeer. Since the 20th century, in an idea popularized by the 1934 song "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town", Santa Claus has been believed to make a list of children throughout the world, categorizing them according to their behavior ("naughty" or "nice") and to deliver presents, including toys, and candy to all of the well-behaved children in the world, and sometimes coal to the naughty children, on the single night of Christmas Eve. He accomplishes this feat with the aid of the elves who make the toys in the workshop and the reindeer who pull his sleigh.[6][7]

Saint Nicholas of Myra is the primary inspiration for the Christian figure of Sinterklaas. He was a 4th century Greek Christian bishop of Myra (now Demre) in Lycia, a province of the Byzantine Anatolia, now in Turkey. Nicholas was famous for his generous gifts to the poor, in particular presenting the three impoverished daughters of a pious Christian with dowries so that they would not have to become prostitutes.[8] He was very religious from an early age and devoted his life entirely to Christianity. In continental Europe (more precisely the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Germany) he is usually portrayed as a bearded bishop in canonical robes. In 1087, the Italian city of Bari, wanting to enter the profitable pilgrimage industry of the times, mounted an expedition to locate the tomb of the Christian Saint and procure his remains. The reliquary of St. Nicholas was desecrated by Italian sailors and the spoils, including his relics, taken to Bari [9][10] where they are kept to this day. A basilica was constructed the same year to store the loot and the area became a pilgrimage site for the devout, thus justifying the economic cost of the expedition. Saint Nicholas was later claimed as a patron saint of many diverse groups, from archers, sailors, and children to pawnbrokers.[8][11] He is also the patron saint of both Amsterdam and Moscow.[12

Dear friends, in this Christmas season, let us follow Saint Nicholas to help the poor people and those who are in needs. Let us share the Christ Jesus’ love by giving gifts to the needy and poor people and celebrate this Christmas. Saint Nicholas is our model to show our God’s love. God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Any one who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this love of God was manifest among us that God sent his only son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. If you are blessed by Saint Nicholas and sharing of Christ Jesus’ love by giving away gifts. Share Christmas’ love with each and every one, and please send your gift of comments to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah857@yahoo.com

CELEBRATE

CELEBRATE

Dear children of God, wish all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year 2013. Let us celebrate the good news proclaimed by the angels about the birth of Jesus Christ. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased! And the angel of the Lord said to them, fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this is the will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in the manger.  The people of Israel were waiting for the Messiah who will rule like King David. In the 8thc prophet Isaiah prophesied about the birth of anointed one who is Messiah and name is called Emmanuel, and behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and he shall call his name Immanuel. The people were waiting for the king shall rule them with peace, joy and happiness. Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.

COME, LET US CELEBRATE:- the birth of Jesus Christ is proclaimed and the place of his birth is also proclaimed, let us go over there to celebrate his birth, because he has come to this world to save us from sins. He has come to redeem us from the bondages and clutches of sins, Satan and the death. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came to this world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. People of Israel were waited to redeem from their political bondages from the Romans. But Jesus came to this world to redeem us from not only the physical but spiritual bondages. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. So let us celebrate his redemptive role and rule.

OFFER, LET US CELEBRATE:- After Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the King, behold, wise men from east came to Jerusalem, saying, where is he who has been born King of Jews? we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him. Herod inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. The wise men are called as Magi in Greek, which means magician. They were respected in Persia. Persian regarded them as Philosophers and Priests. The three wise men that came to see Jesus came from the east. The people from the east indulged in practicing divination. Of course they were wise and experts in many fields. Whatever may be their background, on seeing the star they humbled themselves and came seeking Jesus Christ with precious gifts. When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all the Jerusalem with him; and assembled all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. They told him, in Bethlehem of Judea, for it is written by the prophet: “and you, O Bethlehem, in the land Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherded my people Israel.”  Behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. Going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. Let us celebrate the greatest gift Jesus, we have received from our Lord God, and let us open our treasures to offer him our gifts of thanksgiving. Let us celebrate his God’s gift by sharing our joy and love, sent gifts to which they have not. Let us fall down to worship him by offering our gifts of Gold, frankincense, and myrrh. He has come to save us by giving himself as propitiation for our sins, and not for our only but also for the sins of the world.

PROCLAIM, LET US CELEBRATE:- The shepherds went with haste and found Mary and Joseph and the baby lying in the manger. And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child. And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherd told them. Let us celebrate Christmas by proclaim the good news of Jesus the Savior is born in this world to save sinners and he came down to die for our sins.  Proclaim the good tiding of Jesus’ birth is to redeem us from the bondage of sins, Satan and death. Proclaim the new hope of salvation and redemption. Proclaim the good news what you have experienced in this Christmas day.  Unless and until we proclaim the good news of salvation and redemption, it wills mere a futile celebration only.

Dear children of God, Christmas brings great joy and delight to all of us. It is on this day the invisible God incarnated the form of a human being and came into this world and born of a virgin. That is why people irrespective of religions, greet one another on this joyful day. Let us share our joy by sending gifts to one another and celebrate. Jesus Christ came into this world for a noble cause, so let us celebrate his birth during this Christmas season and also get ready to meet his second coming as King of Kings. It is imperative for you to receive his gift of forgiveness of sins, the fullness of his holy spirit and his abundant blessings from the new born Infant Jesus. May the Infant Jesus grant you all his blessings during this Christmas and bless you and your family in an abundant measure. May the joy of Christmas overflow in your heart and home?  Dear friends if you are ready to celebrate the joy and happiness of Christmas, kindly share with your friends, relatives and all, please send me your gift by your comments to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah857@yahoo.com.

ROOTED IN HEAVEN

ROOTED IN HEAVEN

Dear children of God, let us be rooted in heaven to bear fruit in the world. Our lord Jesus Christ had rooted in heaven and had the Father’s mind to obey and do his will. Let each one of you look not only to his -own interest, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Dear friend, today I want to introduce a great man of God had rooted in heaven and bore fruit to the humanities in the world.
