UNDER THE WINGS

UNDER THE WINGS

Dear friends, wish you all a bright new year and happy, blessed new year. May the good Lord Jesus Christ bless you all with his fullness, goodness and mercy? Let us come to his wings. He is our MOST HIGH God. A young widow Ruth who, out of love for God of Israel and her widowed mother-in-law, abandoned her own culture, declaring, “Your people shall be my people” and your God my God. God‘s providential love care of his people, and of his willingness to accept gentiles who seek and come under His wings. A hen had 12 chickens and she brought them out for good food search. She warned them not to go far away from her. If I make a warning sound, all must come under my wings for safety; otherwise the enemies will take and eat you up. All the chickens said that we will obey your voice. Onetime a kite came, she made a big noise, all the chicken came under her wings and they were safe. But other day a big chick didn’t obey the warning voice of her mother, suddenly a vulture came and took the big chick and ate up. Jesus said, how often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not. Dear children of God, come listen to the voice of God who calls you to get refuge under his wings. Let us listen to the voice of God, which calling us lovingly to find refuge under his wings. David says in psalms that how precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

GOD WHO REPAYS: - when Ruth came to Bethlehem, she went to glean among the ears of grains. So she set out to glean among the ears of grains in the field after the reapers, and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz. Then Boaz said to Ruth, now, listen, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my young women. Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground, and said to him, why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner? But Boaz answered her, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been told me, and how you left your gods and your father and mother and your native land and came to the Lord  the God of Israel and the people that you did not know. The lord repays you for what you have done.  Dear friends, this new year God notices our deeds what we have done.  Other day God warned coin and said, if you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. The one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the spirit will from the spirit reap eternal. Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap.

Dear friends God will render or repay according to our deeds. If our deeds are good, then we reap the good things and if the bad or wrong things do then we reap the destruction. Ruth was paid rewards according to her good deeds of love and concern for her mother-in-law. Let us love first God and give our priority to him. The commandments has two parts, one is love God first then love your neighbor [others] as you love yourself. Ruth came to have shelter under the wings of God, and her deeds are good and she became a blessing to the family of Naomi and Boaz.

GOD WHO REWARDS:- Ruth was given the  full reward  by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings she has come to take refuge. Psalmist says that he who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, not the arrow that files by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near to you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place—the Most High, who is your refuge—no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. Those who take refuge under God’ wings that he will command his angels concerning him or her to guard them in all their ways. On their hands they will bear them up, lest they strike their foot against a stone; they will tread on the young lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent they will trample under foot. Because they hold fast to God in love, he will deliver them; he will protect them, because they know his name. When they call to him he will answer them; He will be with them in trouble; he will rescue them and honor them with long life he will satisfy them and show them his salvation. These are the rewards to receive by who come and take refuge under the wings of the Lord, God of Israel.Dear children of God, Ruth came to the shadow of God’s wings, with empty handed, but God of Israel honored her faith and rewarded. She came to the field to glean the ears of grains, but God Israel made her as the owner of the field by Boaz. He rises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princess and inherit a seat of honor. The greatest blessing she had received was her name written in the genealogy of Jesus Christ. Boaz was the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed was the father of Jesse, and Jesse was the father of David the King. Dear friends, if you come to the refuge under the Lord and you will find the reward and your name will be written in the Book of Life. If you are blessed by coming under the wings of God, kindly share with others and please send your word to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah857@yahoo.com,
