DON’T BE ANXIOUS [DON’T WORRY]

PROVERBS12:25—Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.

Dear children of God we are living in the anxiety world and anxiety kills the people in the world. No one is escaped from the anxiety. All are indulging in the anxiety. Vain anxiety of heart brings all kind of problems in our life. Variety of anxiety puts in the hearts of the people. Anxiety about food, dress, shelter, and other material needs and wants.  Wants are unlimited in the day today life. But God’s words says that don’t be anxious.
Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Jesus wants us to teach a lesson through his own creation. Jesus gives us a solution to solve our anxiety just look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Once in a village there lived a farmer who grows goats and cattle. That year no rain, there was a heavy drought and dryness. There was no food to feed the goats and cattle.  The farmer was very anxiety and he sat in the veranda and watching the sky, and he found no sign of raining. That time his kids were jumping here and there with joy and nothing worried about their foods. Suddenly the farmer went to the kids and asked are you not worried about your foods? Because there is no rain, everywhere drought and how you will get your food? But the kids answered and said we have a master [Father] to feed. Are you not having a Master [Father] to feed and meet your needs? The kids said do not be anxious and be glad your heavenly Father will supply your needs.
Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow  is thrown into the oven, will he not much more cloth you, O you  of little faith?.  Therefore do not be anxious, saying what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or what shall we wear? For the gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, all these things will be added unto you. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, and for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Next step to avoid anxiety is casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Dear children of God psalmist says that cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.[Ps55:22]Don’t linger into your worries and burdens. Learn to cast your anxieties and burden on the Lord who bears it. Surely he has borne our grief and carried our sorrows. Let us cast our worries and burdens on Jesus who has borne our grief and our sorrows.
Final step to avoid anxiety is to rejoice in the Lord, because The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to god. We cannot tell to others our anxieties and our burdens and when they hear our worries, burdens, and problems, they will make fun of us and ridicule us. Paul encourages us that do not be anxious about anything, but in everything in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Let us put our prayer requests make known to God, because our God hears our prayers and answers our prayers. By answering our prayers, we receive our wants and needs from his hands. When we put our requests before God, he removes all our anxieties and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.
Dear children of God don’t worry anymore be content to praise god with thanksgiving and he will supply all our needs and wants. Anxiety kills and suffocates people. So let us look and seek unto God to cast and submit our burdens and anxieties upon him. Jesus is the answer to our anxiety.
