“Let little children come to me, do not hinder them for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly I say to you who ever do not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it. MARK 10:14, 15”
God loves the little children and he wants them to come to Him. Because the little children are willing to accept the facts and truth as it without any question.. God wants us to become as a little children to accept the truth as it. They are obedient, humble and ready to learn things from others without any hesitation.. Are we ready to learn from God and others?
Boosting ourselves leads us to fall. Humbleness always leads us to exaltation. .Jesus himself is our example. Who though he was in the form of god did not count equality with God a thing to grasped but himself nothing , taking the form of servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humble himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that the of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.[philip2:6-11]
In the gospel of Mark Jesus put forth a test before the disciples to teach them a lesson .When Jesus saw the people moved with compassion and said to the disciples you give them to eat, but the disciple said to him shall we go and buy two hundred denary worth of bread and give them to eat .Peter’s brother Andrew found a little boy who had five barley loafs and two fish but what are they for so many. Here the little boy ready to give and share his own food with others.
Let us learn from the little children to enter in to the kingdom of God. Let us learn the qualities of meekness, humbleness, obedient and sharing our own things to the needy people. These are qualities of little children we can bring out in our families. Let us not hinderance to their spiritual life. Let us follow Jesus ‘examples and teaching toenter in to the kingdom of God like little children.
And calling to a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like child, you will never enter in to the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.[Mathew 18:2-4].
