FLOURISHTH

 IS: 35.1 The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like rose.

Today people are asking many questing like this. Whether my dried up life can flourish? Can our dried bones get life? Can our shattered hopes spring up? With man it is impossible but with God it is possible. God turns our weeping into gladness. Jesus said that your sorrow will turn in to joy.

First of all we must realize the causes which turn our life into dry land and wilderness. It’s because of our sins. Sin brings disgrace into our life. We are engulfed with curses. People of Israel neglected Yahweh and gone astray and indulge with idols and other gods. So they were subdued in to judgments.  It brought them slavery and curse. They lost their own land [promise land of milk and honey].They lost their good health and wealth. They lost their freedom and scattered far away from the land of Israel. Already God warned his people of Israel about their sins and its consequences through their prophets .Even though they were warned about their ill-fated life and sinful life. People did not listen to the God’s words but they harden their hearts and gone astray from him. They disobeyed God’s  commandments and his ways and they reaped their consequences.  So now their life became wilderness and dry bones of hopeless exile.

God saw their pathetic condition of dried up and cursed life .God moved with pity, he showed   his mercy on them to save from the bondage of sins and wilderness life. So he sent his prophet with the good news saying your sorrow will turn in to joy.

               Dear children of God, if you want to flourish your life, turn to God who holds your life. The bible says that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all our unrighteousness. [1john1:9].The blood of Jesus His son cleanses us from all sins. Then your life will flourish like rose .It blossom  abundantly ,and rejoice even with joy and singing, the glory of Lebanon shall be given un to it, the Excellency  of Carmel and Sharon  they shall see the glory of  the Lord, and the Excellency of our God.

Let us turn to the lord from sins and bondages of filthiness then God will flourish our life. We have passed through a bitterness of wilderness and hopeless exile, now let us strength our weak hands and confirm feeble knees for prayers, our wilderness life will flourish with hope and joy.

Turn you to the strong hold ye prisoners of hope, even today do I declare that I will render double un to thee. [Zechariah 9:12.].
