JEHOVAH- JIREH

JEHOVAH-JIREH

Dear children of God our God shall provide all our needs if obey his words and voices, and God will surly bless us and he will surly multiply our off springs as the stars of heaven as the sand that is in the sea shore, and our off springs shall possess ‘the gate of their enemies and in our off springs shall all the nations of the earth be blessed. We always like to inherit the blessings of our Lord God. But when obey God’s voices only we can receive the blessings. We have to sacrifice our wants and likes, even our rights and properties to attain the blessings of the Lord. Unless and until we ready to sacrifice those things we won’t receive the blessings of the Lord. I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. This blessing was promised to Abraham by God, but to receive this promise he has to completely obey the God’s commandments and laws.Abraham’s obedience was checked four times by God; as he has to pass through the test. On every times Abraham has to sacrifice or lose something to gain the blessings. Paul says that whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing wroth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. First time he loses his nation, his relations and his father’s house. He went to the land where he never knew. Secondly he has to leave his brother Lot; thirdly he has to leave his son Ishmael. Fourthly he has to sacrifice his only son whom he loved more. For three tests he obeyed God’s voice and he succeeded.  Fourth one was sacrificing his only beloved son Isaac. Abraham has decided to obey God’ voice and he rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men, and his son Isaac with him. He cut wood for the burnt offering and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. When he had heard the God’s commandment, he obeyed to sacrifice his only begotten and beloved son Isaac.

True obedience never asks questions, and won’t waste time to obey. God told place mount moriah was about 60km away from his place Beersheba. On the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place from afar. Then he said to his young men, ‘stay here with the donkey; I and the boy will go there and worship and come again to you. Abraham took wood, fire and a knife.Isaac said to his father Abraham behold, the fire and the wood, where is the lamb for a burnt offering? Abraham said, God will provide for himself a lamb for a burnt offering, my son. Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on the top of the wood. He reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. But the angel of the Lord called to him Abraham, do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me. Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and beholds, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son Isaac. So Abraham called the name JEHOVAH-JIREH [The Lord will provide]. On the Mount of the Lord it shall be provide.

Because you have obeyed my voice, I will surly bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. Your offspring shall possess ‘the gate of his enemies, and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed. Dear friends our God is JEHOVEH JIREH so let us obey his voice and look at this mount of God who will provide, and he will bless us and our offspring, and he will multiply us to be blessed to all the nations of the earth.
