UNDER THE WINGS
UNDER
THE WINGS
Dear
friends, wish you all a bright new year and happy, blessed new year. May the
good Lord Jesus Christ bless you all with his fullness, goodness and mercy? Let
us come to his wings. He is our MOST HIGH God. A young widow Ruth who, out of
love for God of Israel and her widowed mother-in-law, abandoned her own
culture, declaring, “Your people shall be my people” and your God my God. God‘s
providential love care of his people, and of his willingness to accept gentiles
who seek and come under His wings. A hen had 12 chickens and she brought them
out for good food search. She warned them not to go far away from her. If I
make a warning sound, all must come under my wings for safety; otherwise the
enemies will take and eat you up. All the chickens said that we will obey your
voice. Onetime a kite came, she made a big noise, all the chicken came under
her wings and they were safe. But other day a big chick didn’t obey the warning
voice of her mother, suddenly a vulture came and took the big chick and ate up.
Jesus said, how often would I have gathered your children together as a hen
gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not. Dear children of God,
come listen to the voice of God who calls you to get refuge under his wings.
Let us listen to the voice of God, which calling us lovingly to find refuge
under his wings. David says in psalms that how precious is your steadfast love,
O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
GOD WHO REPAYS: - when Ruth came to Bethlehem, she went to glean among the ears of grains. So she set out to glean among the ears of grains in the field after the reapers, and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz. Then Boaz said to Ruth, now, listen, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my young women. Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground, and said to him, why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner? But Boaz answered her, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been told me, and how you left your gods and your father and mother and your native land and came to the Lord the God of Israel and the people that you did not know. The lord repays you for what you have done. Dear friends, this new year God notices our deeds what we have done. Other day God warned coin and said, if you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. The one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the spirit will from the spirit reap eternal. Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap.
Dear friends God will render or repay according to our deeds. If our deeds are good, then we reap the good things and if the bad or wrong things do then we reap the destruction. Ruth was paid rewards according to her good deeds of love and concern for her mother-in-law. Let us love first God and give our priority to him. The commandments has two parts, one is love God first then love your neighbor [others] as you love yourself. Ruth came to have shelter under the wings of God, and her deeds are good and she became a blessing to the family of Naomi and Boaz.
GOD
WHO REWARDS:- Ruth was given the full reward
by the Lord, the God of Israel, under
whose wings she has come to take refuge. Psalmist says that he who dwells in
the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. He will
cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you find refuge; his
faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night,
not the arrow that files by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near to you. You will
only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. Because you have
made the Lord your dwelling place—the Most High, who is your refuge—no evil
shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. Those who take
refuge under God’ wings that he will command his angels concerning him or her
to guard them in all their ways. On their hands they will bear them up, lest
they strike their foot against a stone; they will tread on the young lion and
the adder; the young lion and the serpent they will trample under foot. Because
they hold fast to God in love, he will deliver them; he will protect them,
because they know his name. When they call to him he will answer them; He will
be with them in trouble; he will rescue them and honor them with long life he
will satisfy them and show them his salvation. These are the rewards to receive
by who come and take refuge under the wings of the Lord, God of Israel.Dear
children of God, Ruth came to the shadow of God’s wings, with empty handed, but
God of Israel honored her faith and rewarded. She came to the field to glean
the ears of grains, but God Israel made her as the owner of the field by Boaz. He
rises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap to make
them sit with princess and inherit a seat of honor. The greatest blessing she
had received was her name written in the genealogy of Jesus Christ. Boaz was the
father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed was the father of Jesse, and Jesse was the
father of David the King. Dear friends, if you come to the refuge under the
Lord and you will find the reward and your name will be written in the Book of
Life. If you are blessed by coming under the wings of God, kindly share with
others and please send your word to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah857@yahoo.com,

MIRIAM
MIRIAM
Dear friends let us learn lessons from Miriam‘s life. She is the elder sister of Moses. Her life
and service for the Lord God is the challenge to our modern life. Now there
arose a new king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph. Every situation was changed,
and the people of Israel underwent the period of tribulation. And he said to
his people, Behold, the people of Israel are too many and too mighty for us.
Come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and if war breaks
out, they join our enemies and fight against us and escape from the land.
Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with heavy burdens.
Then the king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, when you serve as a midwife
to the Hebrew women and see them in the birth stool, if it is a son, you shall
kill him, but if it is a daughter, she shall live. In this critical situation
house of Levi went and took as his wife a Levite woman. The woman conceived and
bore a son, and that he was a fine child, she hid him three months. When she
could hide him no longer, she took for him a basket made of bulrushes it with
bitumen and pitch. She put the child in it and placed it among the’ reeds by
the river bank. Here the role of Miriam starts as a role model and exemplary to
the believers and sojourners.
CARING MIRIAM:
- More responsible Miriam was so active to watch over the brother who lay in
the basket and placed among the reeds by the river bank. She had a good
character of obeying her parents to watch over her brother’s fate. It was a great danger to leave the child and
place it among the reeds by the river bank. There was a danger of crocodile or fish to
consume the baby boy or any other animals or people to kill the child. At the
same time Miriam watched over the child with love and concern, because the
child may cry for milk or cry for the mother’s comfort. She was watching wisely
by hiding herself. Now the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river,
while her young women walked beside the river. She saw the basket among the
reeds and sent her servant woman, and she took it. When she opened it, she saw
the child, and behold, the baby was crying. She took pity on him and said, this
is one of the Hebrews’ children. Then Miriam boldly came to Pharaoh’s daughter
and said, shall I go and call you a nurse from the Hebrew woman to nurse the
child for you? And the Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, go. So Miriam went and
called the child’s mother. Miriam brought her mother, so she brought her
brother to grow in her home. She had a part to bring out a great leader to
guide the Israelite from the bondage.CELEBRATING
MIRIAM:- Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron and Moses was celebrating
the victory over the Egyptian who drawn in the red sea. Miriam had organized
the women folks to celebrate the victory. She took the tambourine in her hand
and played with victory song. All the women flocks went out after her with
tambourines and dancing. And Miriam sang to them a song. Sing to the lord, for
he had triumph gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea. The
Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. Pharaoh’s
chariots and his host he cost into the sea and his chosen officers were sunk in
the red sea. Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic
in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, and doing wonders? The Lord will reign
forever and ever.
COMPLAINING
MIRIAM:- Miriam had very good character in her life and at the same time she
had a character of complaining. This character
brought her a low estate of warning from the Lord. This Miriam’s character is
warning for the believers. She complained against her brother Moses the great
leader. Moses had very good character, which God loved.1. Moses was a very meek
more than all people who were on the face of the earth.2. He was faithful in
all God’s house.3. Man of Forgiving. 4. He was an advocate. 5. God spoke to him
mouth to mouth and he beholds the form of the Lord face to face. Miriam and Aaron
spoke against Moses the man of God because he had married a Cushite woman. And they
said has the lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has not spoken through us
also? And the lord heard it. We must be careful about our words because God
hears our words. Suddenly, God said to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, come out you
three, to the tent of meeting. The three of them came out. The pillar of cloud
and stood at the entrance of the tent and God called Aaron and Miriam, and both
of them came forward. And God said hear my words: if there is a prophet among
you. I the lord make myself known to him in a vision. Not so with my servant
Moses. He is faithful in my entire house. With him I speak mouth to mouth,
clearly, and not in riddles, and he beholds the form of the lord. Why then were
you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? The anger of the Lord kindled
against them.When the
cloud removed from over the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, like snow. Aaron turned
toward Miriam, and behold she was leprous. And Aaron said to Moses “Oh, my
lord, do not punish us because we have done foolishly and have sinned. Moses cried
to the Lord, O God please heal her—please. But the Lord said to Moses, if her
father had but spit in her face and after should she may not be shamed seven
days? Let her be shut outside the camp seven days and after that she may be
brought in again. She was jealous and complaining against the servant of god
and she was punished. She was a warning to keep our words and deeds carefully;
otherwise we have to reap the consequences.Dear friends,
let us learn a great lesson from the life of Miriam. Like Miriam let us have
the character of loving and caring our brothers and sisters. Let us celebrate
the victory of God with singing songs with tambourine and dancing. She was
dancing with women flocks and celebrated the salvation of God. Let us be vigilant about our words and
complaints, God hears our words against God and man. Suddenly he punishes for
that kind of sins. Aaron and Miriam humbled themselves and confessed their
foolish deeds and sins. Our God is our
father who forgives our sins and heals. He healed Miriam and her leprosy. Let us
turn to the Lord and commit ourselves and he will forgive our sins and heal our
sickness. If you learned a lesson from
the life of Miriam, kindly share with others and send a word to my email id. revsjc@gmail.com,

IS LORD'S HAND SHORTENED?

IS THE LORD'S HAND SHORTENED?
Dear children of God, we have come across many questions in our lifetime. Some of them we have found answers and some of them we haven’t get any answer still now. Men and Women had asked many questions to know, get right and good things from God and man. But here God asked a question to Moses, that Is the Lord’s hand is shortened? The same question is asked us to answer Him. What is your answer today? Isaiah says that behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.
LORD’S HAND IS STRONG AND MIGHTY: - by the strong and mighty hand, the Lord brought the Israelite out of Egypt, from the house of slavery. The Lord God did 10 miracles in Egypt to deliver from the slavery. But the people of Israel forgot soon. People of Israel complained about their food which the Almighty God gave. Now the rabble that was among them had a strong craving. And the people of Israel also wept again and said, Oh that we had meat to eat! We remember the fish we ate in Egypt that cost nothing, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic. But now our strength is dried-up, and there is nothing at all but this manna to look at. Like Israelite we often forget the Lord’s mighty hand which had done great miracles in our life. We often murmuring for and craving for perishable things. God had humbled and tested the people of Israel to know; what was in the heart? whether they would keep his commandments or not. God fed them with manna which they do not know, which He might make them know that man, does not live by bread alone, but lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
But Moses said, the people among whom i am number six hundred thousands on foot and you have said, i will give them meat, that they may eat a whole month!' shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, and be enough for them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, and be enough for them? and the Lord said to Moses, "Is the Lord's hand shortened? now you shall see whether my word will come true for you or not."therefore the Lord will give you meat, and you shall eat. you shall not eat just one day , or two days, or five days or ten days, or twenty days, but for a whole month, until it comes out at your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you, because you have rejected the Lord who is among you and have wept before him. Moses heard the people weeping throughout their cleans, everyone at the door of his tent. and the anger of the Lord blazed hotly, and the Moses was displeased. where am i to get meat to give to all this people? for they weep before me and say, 'give us meat, that we may eat. and Lord said to Moses that say to the people , consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat. you have wept in the hearing of the lord, saying who will give us meat to eat?
Dear children of God let us consecrate ourselves to receive the glorious miracles from him, because his hand is not shortened to help us or to do the mighty miracles. let us not grumble or murmur against the Lord. let us not limit our mighty God. who is our creator. let us confess his Greatness and mighty deeds, which wrought in Egypt. Then a wind from the Lord sprang up, and it brought quail from the sea and let them fall beside the camp, about a day's journey on this side and a day's journey on the other side, around the camp, and about two cubits above the ground. Today also his mighty hand and strong arm is able to do great things for us, let us just consecrate ourselves and confess his greatness, He is able to do great things for us. shall we confess that lord, you hand is not shortened to do great miracles in our lives.
Dear friends, in this New Year let us put our trust on the Lord and say to him Oh, Lord you are "ALMIGHTY GOD" your hand is not shortened to do help and miracles in our Lives. Just we confess our unbelief and help us to believe your mighty and strong hand, which can do great things in our lives. God has challenged Moses and said now you shall see whether my word will come true for you or not. whatever our need may be? our Lord God's hand is ready to do. if you are renewed your faith in God then receive the miracles and great things from him, and share God's mighty deeds with others and send a word to my email.ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah857@yahoo.com.

STAY AWAKE
STAY AWAKE
Dear children of God,
let us be vigilant, and stay awake for the adversary is ready to devour God’s
children. We have come to the end of the age and ready to meet our Lord and
master Jesus Christ, who is going to come soon. He is going to give the reward
according to our deeds. Jesus said that let the evildoer still do evil, and the
filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still
are holy. Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay
everyone for what he has done. Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on
what day your Lord is coming. But concerning that day and hour no one knows,
not even the angels of heaven, nor the son, but the Father only. For as were
the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the man. For as in those days before
flood they were eating and drinking and giving in marriage, until the day when
Noah enter the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them
all away, so will be the coming of the son of man.
FAITHFUL
AND WISE SERVANT:- God wants us to
faithful and wise servant to stay awake. If we stay awake to do his will, then
we can receive the reward. He says that I will pay the recompense with me, the
reward according
to your deeds. Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has
set over his house hold, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is
that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to
you, he will set over him over all his possession. But if that wicked servant
says to himself, My Master is delayed’, and begins to beat his fellow servants
and eats and drinks with drunkards, the
master of that servant will come on a day
when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not and will cut him
in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place, there will be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.
FAITHFUL AND WISE VIRGIN:- Some time we become foolish virgins and try to manage things without right preparations. We try to behave like foolish virgins, doing things haste and harry without stay awake. We try to do things like foolish virgins, everything is over. Ten virgins went out to meet the Bridegroom, who took their lamps. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps. As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept. But at midnight there was a cry, here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him. Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the wise answered, saying, since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves. And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, Lord. Lord, open to us. But he answered; truly, I say to you, I do not know you. Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.
FAITHFUL
AND WISE STEWARD:- Let us stay awake to give accounts to the Lord who ask for
it to give away the recompense and pay the rewards. Lord and master of the house
who called his stewards; and entrusted to them his property. To one he gave
five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability.
Then he went away. He who had received the one talent went and dug in the
ground and hid his master’s money. Now after a long time the master of those
stewards came and settled accounts with them. And he who had received the five
talents came forward, bringing five talents more. His mater said to him, well
done, good and faithful steward. You have been faithful over a little; I will
set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master. And he also who had the
two talents came forward, saying, Master, you delivered to me two talents; here
I have made two talents more. His master said to him, well done, good and
faithful steward. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over
much. Enter into the joy of your master. He also who had received the one
talent came forward, saying , Master, I knew
you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where
you scattered no seed, so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the
ground. Here you have what is yours. But his master answered him, you wicked
and slothful steward! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather
where I scattered no seed? Then you ought to have invested my money with the
bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest.
So take the talent from him and give it to him who has ten talents. For to
everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from
the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the
worthless steward into the outer darkness. In that place, there will be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.
Dear
friends, behold, the Lord God comes with might, and his arm rules for him;
behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. Each one’s work
will become manifest, for the day will disclose it, because it will be revealed
by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the
work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive reward,
if anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be
saved, but only as through fire. Dear friends if you are stay awake to receive
the reward from the Lord, who is coming soon, kindly proclaim the good news and
share with others and please send a word to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com,
