ROOTED IN HEAVEN

Dear children of God, let us be rooted in heaven to bear fruit in the world. Our lord Jesus Christ had rooted in heaven and had the Father’s mind to obey and do his will. Let each one of you look not only to his -own interest, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Dear friend, today I want to introduce a great man of God had rooted in heaven and bore fruit to the humanities in the world. The south Indians, particularly from Ramanathapuram, Virudhu nagar, and Sivagangai district peoples are very great to this man of God, Fr. Pear sherak from France. Rev.Fr. Pear Sherak was born on 1914 in France. In he joined in Jesuit Mission on 1931 and he came to India on 1937. And he had studied at Pachappan College in Chennai. He studied Tamil and Sanskrit. In 1955 he became a leader of All India federation of Catholics for 16 years.

 He proclaimed gospel among the people of all religion in Pondicherry, in cherian nagar. He did social works to pave the roads, building houses, and hospitals for the marginal and down trodden peoples. Then he came to serve to Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai and Virudhu nagar districts, where the government helps not reached.  In all these dry areas, he had dig more than 1000 wells for drinking waters for the village people. He quenched the thirst of the drought people and short of rain fall. He helped the people those were affected leprosy.  He used to say that giving respect and shaking hands are more valuable than money.

 Rev.Fr.Sherak loved India and its beautiful rivers, Mountains, and all people of Tamil Nadu.  He was very much interested in the life of youngsters, and revived them to love the country, and its people to serve them. He made a slogan, we India and we revolution. He had arranged many educational and learning programs for the youth to sportive them to serve the country and its people.  These kind of programs helped the youths and now these youth became Government employees and living in the high society and serving as a good politicians.

 1969 he established a cooperative form for the people of mana-madurai. In 1980 World Christian Council had sent Fr. Sherak as head of 12 people group of doctors to serve in Thailand. He served there for 14 years in Thailand and he served among people Africa, who were affected by the mines boom blast. He returned to India on 1994, he was 90 years old, but served among the Tsunami affect coast fishermen. In 2008, France honored him with a highest award of Legion of Honor. In his last days he served in Loyola College Chennai, teaching and worked for human rights. He died on May 30 2012, 4.30 am at age of 98 years old. His root was in the heaven and lived a wonderful life to serve humanity with all his strength, heart, mind and soul. His fruitful life wonderful to those entire he met and served.

Dear friends, let our life may be rooted in heaven and in Christ Jesus.  Jesus said that, I have chosen you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and your fruit should abide. Fr. Sherak’ finest word was “wonderful’ and he did for God and humanity was wonderful. Let us be wonderful and careful to be planted and rooted in heaven and Christ to serve the human and fear fruit for his glory. MY HELPER

Dear children of God, my helper is your and our helper, he is the Lord Jesus Christ. King David says that I lift up my eyes to the hills from where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and in high favor, because by him the Lord had given victory to Syria. He was a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper. He had spent more money to get cure from leprosy. But he couldn’t get it, and no one physician to help to cure his leprosy. He was longing to get healed from his disease.Now the Syrians on one of their raids had carried off a little girl from the land of Israel, and worked in the service of Naaman’s wife. One day the little girl who knew her Lord helper who heals the sickness and leprosy, said to her mistress, would that my lord were with the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy. So Naaman went in and told his lord, “thus and so spoke the girl from the land of Israel”. And the king of Syria said “go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.Naaman was very happy, because he has one to help to cure his leprosy. The good news is that I have my helper to heal me. So suddenly he had traveled to Israel to meet the prophet Elisha. Elisha told him to do what God has said to Elisha.  As the Lord told go and wash seven times in Jordan, Naaman went to Jordan to dip himself seven times. He dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and ne was clean. Dear friends, are you worried about your incurable disease? Are you anxious about your future and your healing? Today no one is to help you in your sick bed and troubles. Don’t worry, Jesus is living, and he is able to help you in your sickness and disease. He is the helper of helpless. One man was by the sheep Gate a pool, called Bethesda- who had been an invalid for 38 years, when Jesus saw him lying there and knew that h already been there a longtime, he said  to him, Do you  want to be healed? The sick man said answered him, sir; I have no one to help me to into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me. Jesus said to him, Get up, takes up your bed and walk. And at once the man was healed, and he took up hid bed and walked. Today the same healer Jesus Christ is living, and he will say unto you, whatever the sickness may be just take up your bed and walk, you will be healed. Are you ready to meet your healer Jesus? By faith just tell him about your worries and sickness, he is ready to help you and heal you.
Jesus wants to help you and heal you. Just call him Father; he will come with stead fasting love to help you. He is your helper. He became my helper, when everyone left me, as I was suffering with renal failure. Timely helper came to my bedside to help me with the compassion heart and stead fast love. He touched me and healed me. Now I am doing god’s ministry very effectually. I am the living witness. If you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us. And Jesus said, if you can, all things are possible for one who believes. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now you have asked nothing in my name, ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.Dear brothers and sisters, don’t be afraid, our helper Immanuel is with us to help. When he calls me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.{PS91:15-16] My helper Jesus will help you in your wants, troubles, sickness, and near to deathbed. Many people called him in trouble and sick and deathbed, he answered and helped. Today, Jesus is standing by your side and asking Son, Daughter, do you want to heal or help?  Just say, yes, Jesus. He will do the miracle. Take up your bed and walk. SLINKY

Dear children of God, let us enjoy happiness with our children as they play with toys. Slinky is a spring toy and it jumps from one place to another.  Slinky means jumping or lazy spring. It is a playing toy. There are some famous Slinky toys, Slinky dog, and sushi, and Slinky worm. Coils of springs, if we press on our hands it will jump and run and we will enjoy it seeing that is called Slinky. Some time we become slinky in the hands of the enemies and devils and men. Samson the Judge became a slinky in the hands of his enemies the Philistines. Samson went Gaza, and there he saw a prostitute, and he went in to her. Samson lay till midnight, and at midnight he arose and took hold of the doors of the gate of the city and the two posts, and pulled them up, bar and all and put them on his shoulders and carried them to the top of the hill that is in the front of Hebron.  After this he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah? The lords of the Philistines came up to her and said her, “seduce him, and see where his strength lies, and by what means we may overpower him, that we may bind him to humble him.

 

 So Delilah said to Samson, “Please tell me where your great strength lies, and how you might be bound, that one could subdue you. And he told all his heart, a razor has never come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If my head is shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man. She made him to sleep on her knees. And she called a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his head then she began to torment him and his strength left him, the Philistines came upon him and he awoke from the sleep and said I will go out as at other times and shake myself free. But He lost his Nazirite vows. He did not know that the Lord God left him.   And the philistines seized him and gouged out his eyes and brought him down Gaza bound him with chains and bronze shackles. And he ground at the mill in the prison. Now the Lords of the Philistines gathered to offer a great sacrifice to “Dagon their god and rejoice, and they said, our god has given Samson our enemy into our hand. When the people saw him, they praised their god. Our god has given our enemy into our hand, the ravager of our country, who has killed many of us. And when their hearts were merry, they said, call Samson, that he may entertain us. So they called Samson out of the prison, and he entertained them. Now the house was full of men and women. All the lords of the Philistines were there, and on the roof there were about 3000 men and women, who looked on while Samson entertained.

 Then the Samson called to the Lord and said, O Lord. Please remember ma and please strengthen me only this once, o God, that I may be avenged on the Philistines for my two eyes. And Samson grasped the two pillars on which the house rested, and he leaned his weight against them, his right hand on the one and left hand on the other. Samson said; Let me die with the Philistines. Then he bowed with all his strength and the house fell upon the Lords and upon all the people who were in it.
 

Dear friends if we give more importance to our eyes and our flesh, then we sure to lose our anointing of God and God’s presence and strength. Then we became slinky in the hands of enemies, Satan and men. Slinky was found by Mr. Richard James the American in 1943. He made many strong springs to use in the ship to take the things from one place to other without any shaking s.  When he opened his self one of the spring fell from the self. The fallen spring has jumped, and ran away.  Her wife said to him; let us make springs for our children to play. He borrowed $5oo from the bank and made 400 slinky and they tried to sell it. No one pay attention to the slinky. James had continually tried to sell these slinky toys. In 1943 a shop owner in Philadelphia allowed him to keep his slinky toys in a corner. Within an hour all the slinky toys were sold out. Mr. Richard James and his wife Betty started slinky toy company on 1960 as James industries. His slinky toys, like slinky dog, sushi, and slinky worm are become famous. Mr. Richard James left the company and went as Missionary to Bolivia.Dear brothers and sisters let us be careful about ourselves. Be sober-minded; be watchful, your adversary the devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour, resist him, firm in your faith. Whenever you play with slinky toys, with your children, let the words of alertness of God‘s word forbid us to become “Slinky” like Samson. Dear children of God, let us go to Rampur, Ludhiana, Punjab, to see the Sadhu Sunder Singh’s birth place and know about the saint who committed himself as a iterant evangelist to India and Tibet. Sunder’s family, who came from the Punjab, held high rank within the Sikh community; his father was a chieftain and a landowner. His mother was an honored as a bhakta, or a saint. She believed there was good in all religious and encouraged her son to seek the truth wherever it could be found.Little Sadhu: - as a young boy, Sunder used to rise early with his mother to recite prayers, and they paid visit a fortnight to a Hindu holy man who suggested he might one day become Sadhu. His mother also welcomed Christian teachers to their home, though the two of them were not persuaded by what they heard. Indeed, sunder that was as a boy of twelve attended a Christian mission school once ended a scripture lesson by tearing up the Bible. Two years later his mother died and his world collapsed; he could not live without God and it was she who made God real to him. Finding no help from the holy man, he vented his anger on the Christians; he became violent, attacking the believers and disrupting their meetings’ with a gang of other boys stoned the preachers in the bazaar and shouted down those who protested.  The climax came when he bought a copy of the New Testament and in front of his friends contemptuously ripped it apart and burned it page by page.









TRUTH FOUND SADHU: -  one day he went to the school play ground  to see the games, near by the play ground there was an old building, from that building he heard a sound. So, he went to the building to see, what was the sound? But he found that his own classmate who was praying to God fervently. And also he prayed for sunder and for his studies and his father and his family members. His friend was having a copy of New Testament with hands and praying. So he longed to have one to read and find that what is in it? Next day he went to school and asked his class teacher to give him a copy of New Testament. The Christian teacher asked him what for it?  He said that sir, I like to read this. The teacher gave him a copy of New Testament. What the words of the NT, spoke to him? Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. My yoke is easy, and my burden is light. [mathew11:28-30] blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. [mathew5:6] love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends his rain on the just and on the unjust. I am the way and truth, and the life. No one comes to the father expect through me. [john14:6] he had many questions in his heart and mind; he tried to find out the truth that he was longing to get it. Next day he went to the school and asked his doubts about Jesus and the truths, the Christian teacher had explained about the truth from the very beginning of the bible verses to Christ Jesus’ birth, died on the cross for sinners and rose up from the dead on the third day of his burial and now he lives and going to come again give us eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life [john3:16].
 Three days and nights sunder stayed in his room, praying that God would reveal himself; if not, he planned to end his life by throwing himself under an express train that passed through his village every morning at five O, clock. A short a while before the deadline, a great light filled his room and out of the brightness came the figure, not of Krishna or one of his gods, but of Jesus. “How long will you persecute me? I have come to save you. You were praying to know the truth and light and the right way, why do you not take it? I am the way, truth and the life said the Lord Jesus. Sunder had heard these words in Hindustani language, very clearly. Immediately he ran to his father’ room and said I have seen Jesus Christ, he came to my room and I have worshiped him, and I am going to become a Christian.
His family was shocked to learn his vision. Now I am a Christian, I can serve no one else but Jesus, he declared. Despite threats, attacks and personal abuse, Sunder remained true to his decision. Rather than suffer any further family disgrace his father turned him out of the home, telling him he would have no more to do with him. Sunder’s last meal was spiked with poison and the following morning he began to vomit, while blood oozing out of his mouth; he managed to crawl to the safety of a pastor’s house in the next village, where he recovered.







TRUTH PROCLAIMED SADHU:- on the sixteen birthday, 3^rd September 1905, he was baptized a Christian at the Anglican Church at Lahore, then he left for Simla Hills where he spent almost a month seeking God’s will for his future. He turned his back on the security of a western church and decided to don the yellow robe of an Indian Sadhu. From the beginning, sunder longed to take the Gospel to Tibet which was virtually a closed country. His first tour was into the foothills of the Himalayas, where he learned some of the hard realities of his calling. Often honorably received into homes along his route, he would be driven out again again when he spoke of Jesus. But when he did not curse or revile his attackers, as many other sadhus would have done, they asked his forgiveness and invited him to return.
Eighteen months after his baptism, sunder made his first trip to Tibet. Two Moravian missionaries taught him something of the language and lent him a young interpreter to accompany him. The two of them tramped from village to village, only to be rejected when they preached about Jesus; the one exception was at a monastery where Lama gave him permission to speak to the monks. After this, he returned to Tibet every year between 1908 and 1929. Some of the adventures he experienced on these journeys seem almost impossible and people often asked,” can they be true? He was beaten, imprisoned and left to die on several occasions, yet escaped to continue his preaching.Once he was arrested by monks and thrown down a well, where he was left to die among the putrefying remains of previous victims. On the third night he was secretly rescued, even though the only key to the lock was kept by the Grand Lama himself. At least three times he was similarly saved from the death by unknown rescuers who proved to be members of the sanniyasi mission, a group of secret disciples of Jesus and one of the strange underground Christian Movements of Modern India. On another occasion he was travelling with a stranger over a mountain pass in winter. Hearing the cries of an injured man, sunder went to the rescue while his fellow-traveler quickly moved on to avoid the approaching storm. He later found his former companion frozen to death, while he and the injured man survived.In 1909 he was persuaded to enter St. John’s College, Lahore, to study for the ministry; he believed that he could give the church a vision which no one else at that time could pass on. But he refused ordination when he realized it would mean remaining in the one diocese and no longer travelling to Tibet. While college gave him some idea of the work of a minister, it confirmed him in his belief that western type Christianity was not suited to India. Sadhu sunder Singh’s fame began to spread beyond India, and between 1919 and 1922 he toured the Far East and visited Europe, America and Australia. He was greatly disappointed with west; he found it to be materialistic and utterly indifferent to all spiritual values. For three years, from 1925 to 1927, sunder was forced to rest and he spent his time in the Simla Hills, writing books and pamphlets. He attempted to reach Tibet in 1927 but illness caused him to turn to turn back. His last attempted came in 1929, when he disappeared without trace. Some believe that he had joined the Christian hermits in the Kailas Ranges, others that he had been martyred for the sake of the Gospel. No one knows, and his death is still a mystery. In the end he fulfilled his oft-repeated prophecy, “I never expect to return from Tibet. Dear friends, I had a privilege to visit his village Rampur his birth place and his own house. We have seen the room where he got the vision and worshiped Jesus Christ face to face. His prayer room, where I prayed in the seat of Sadhu sunders Singh that gave a great challenge to pray for Tibet, and India and longed to do ministry to proclaim Christ Jesus to the unknown people of the earth. Surely this sadhu’s life and suffering for Gospel lead us to do and proclaim Christ to the world. HEALING TOUCH

Dear friends, let us feel the healing touch of Jesus Christ who is living today and able to touch and heal you. Receive it and praise God for his healing touch. Though man has everything like wealth, education, status and so on, still he lacks rest, happiness, peace, and health in his life. He makes many efforts to obtain joy and peace- he spends money and indulges in sinful pleasures, but no avail. He is unaware that all these things only bring restless in his soul, sickness and death in his body. When God created man, he created him not only in his image and likeness but also with happiness, peace, rest, health and with eternal life. But when man broke the commandment of the Lord and sinned, he not only lost his blessings, but also became slave to death, fear and distress in his soul and to weakness and incurable diseases in his body.

Though many methods like medical healing and demonic healing are resorted to nothing seems to grant man perfecting healing. Moreover, certain medicines have side effects and may even lead to another ailment. Although modern science has introduced many new medicines, new sicknesses are appearing and posing a great challenge to even doctors. Under these circumstances, you may be troubled; wondering whether is there any doctors at all in this 20^th c to cure you and your sickness. Friends, we just introduce a doctor who touch and heal you. It will suffice if you come to him with faith. He is the best Physician you ever known for humanity. He is Jesus Christ the great healer. He says that I am the Lord who heals you. By his wounds we are healed and he took our infirmities and carried our diseases. He calls us sating, come unto me, all ye that labor and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Jesus has conquered our sins, sickness, curses and even death, and lives forevermore. And he promised the same healing touch and healing and victory to those who believe him.

Dear brothers and sisters, please, if you confess your sins to the Lord Jesus with repentance and accept him as your personal savor and Lord the healer, he will take away all the sickness in your body and grant you perfect healing. Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, which redeems your life from the pit. He sent forth his words and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. The Bible says that he himself bore our sins in his body on the tree; by the wounds you have been healed. Jesus was moved with compassion, on seeing the sick people. He healed 10 lepers. Virtue went out of him and healed the woman with an issue of blood. All the sick who came to Jesus returned whole. He made the blind to see, and the deaf to hear, the dumb to speak and lame to walk. He even raised the dead to life. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Even today His healing hand is not shortened that it cannot heal.

Medical science and surgery may heal a man physically with the help of Jesus the healer. But the divine healing is given freely by our heavenly physician without any medicine and surgery. Dear friends, I am the living witness and enjoying perfect healing in body soul and mind.  Jesus healing touch on my two renal which was failed? I was at the point of death and drawn near to death. Jesus had touched me with his healing hands, now I am doing God’ ministry and sharing his power and healing touch to the people who do not know and experience the healing. Please come and experience the healing touch from his wounded hands, which bore our sins and 

sickness. Do not delay, whatever sickness and diseases you may have and you might have lost hope of living in this world. Just say to Jesus, Lord have mercy on me, let thy healing touch put on me. Sure, he will touch and heal you perfectly.

Dear friends, if you want to be healed and have the healing touch of Jesus right now, no matter what the sickness are, and even if the doctors have given up on you, surrender your entire being into the hands of Lord Jesus the heavenly physician. Please pray with me with faith on Jesus who is our healer. Lord Jesus, I believe that you have died on the cross not only for my sins, but also for my sickness. Lord Jesus graciously forgive all my sins, let your healing touch may put on me and heal me and grant me perfect healing. I desire to live a clean and strong witness life as your child, in Jesus name. Amen.

CARRY JESUS TO THE POOR

Dear children of God, let us salute the chosen and used vessel of God, mother Teresa of Calcutta. Many chosen vessel and saints of God came to serve and minister in India, from all these, the flower of bud came and spread the Aroma of Jesus’ love. Mother Teresa lived to serve Jesus in the poorest of the poor. Her love for God grew strong and she wanted all people to come to love Jesus as she did and to be as happy as she was. Once she had a vision: she saw many very people and children calling out to her; “come, come, save us- bring us to Jesus”. And God said to her; carry Jesus to the poor- fear not I will be with you. Mother Teresa’s charitable work began to attract attention of many nations and world.  The first mission she opened outside of India was in Venezuela in July 1965 and before long she had missions in many other countries of the world. Mother Teresa received many awards, the first being the padma shri in 1962. She received the Jawaharlal Nehru award in1972 and the Bharat Ratna [the jewel of India] in 1980. One award that caught the attention of the whole world was the Noble Peace Prize, which she received on 10 December 1979 in Oslo, Norway. She accepted it and every award and honor [over 700 in her life time] not for herself but in the name of the poor. She was often away from Calcutta, traveling to all parts of the world to bring God’s message of Love and Compassion.

MOTHER TERESA’ CHILDOOD AND DEDICATION :- Mother Teresa was born on 26 August 1910 in the city of Skopje, which today is the capital of the Republic of Macedonia. Her parents, Nikola and Drana Bojaxhiu, were fervent Catholics from Albania. They had her baptized the day after she was born and gave her the name Gonxha Agnes.  Gonxha” name; meaning is” flower bud” in the Albanian language. She was the youngest of the five children. Life was pleasant for the Bojaxhiu children. Her father was a merchant and owned a shop not far from their home. Her mother affectionately called “Nane Loke”, means mother of soul” in Albanian, was truly the soul of the Bojaxhiu home. She was a devoted woman who taught her children to pray to God from their earliest years and to know to love him. They learned also from her what it means to love one’s neighbor: anyone who comes to her for help was never turned away when Gonxha was just nine years old. Her father died suddenly. Never had the family felt such pain and sorrow. Drana had to find ways to provide food, clothing and other necessities and see to the education of the children. At the age of twelve Gonxha first heard, in her heart, God calling her to follow him. Years after later, when people asked her about her calling, she said, I knew I had a vocation to the poor. I wanted to be a missionary, I wanted to go out and give the life Christ to the people in the missionary countries. When she was eighteen years old, she wrote to the institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary [the Loreto Sisters], asking to join them. The reason she choose this order of nuns was because they had a mission in India. Her mother gave her this advice: “put your hand in his hand of Jesus and walk all alone with him and never look back.” After a tearful goodbye at the train station, she courageously set out for Rathfatnham Abbey in Dublin, Ireland in September 1928. There she spent two months learning a new language- English. She also received a new name- “Sister Teresa”, as a sign that she was beginning a new life. This new life in a new country, away from her family, was not easy, but Sister Teresa felt a deep joy and peace in her heart.
MOTHER TERESA’S TRAINING AND CALLING:- FROM Ireland, sister Teresa, along with three other young sisters, boarded a ship that would take them to the Loreto convent in Bengal. At last they reached Bengal’s soil. Sister Teresa was sent to Darjeeling. There she spent two years as a novice, praying, studying and training her life as a religious sister. She also needed to learn the language of the people and picked up Bengali and Hindi easily. Finally the great day came when she would commit her life to God. On 25 May 1931, during a special ceremony, Sister Teresa made her first vows. She promised God that she would live a life of poverty, chastity and obedience and would devote herself to teaching children. These vows were temporary- that means that they were for one year, and then she would take them again.  Sister Teresa wore a long black habit [a religious dress] and received a black veil to cover her head to show that she was consecrated to God. Sister Teresa sent to the Loreto Entally Convent in Calcutta. She taught geography and catechism in st. Mary’s Bengali medium school. She taught them the value of making sacrifices to show their love for God in return. When they had free time, Sister Teresa took some of her students to the slums to visit the poor. On 24 may 1937, when she was twenty-seven years old, she made her final vows. This time she promise God to live poverty, chastity and obedience for the rest of her life was to be “only all for Jesus”. From this day on, she was no longer called “Sister Teresa” but “mother Teresa”. She continued teaching and then in 1944 became Principal of St. Mary’s school. She was also put in charge of the daughters of St. Anne, the community of Indian religious sisters who were connected with the congregation of Loreto. It was on the 10 of September in 1946, mother Teresa was thirty-six years old, and she was in the train on her way to Darjeeling to make her yearly retreat, where she would spend eight days in silence, praying to God. On that train she experienced Jesus speaking to her, to give up everything, even Loreto, and follows him into the slums, to serve him in the people who had nothing and no one and who were suffering so much- the poorest of the poor. When she got back to Calcutta, mother Teresa, more than six months kept hearing Jesus speak to her and told her, “ My little one- come, come, carry me to the holes of the poor. Come, be my light. I cannot go alone- they don’t know me-so they don’t want me. Once she had a vision: she saw many very poor people and children calling out her: come, come, save us- bring us to Jesus
In august 1948, Mother Teresa exchanged her black Loreto habit and veil for a white sari with a blue border and left the Loreto convent. Mother Teresa, now thirty –eight years old, first went to Patna to stay with the Medical Mission Sisters so she could learn from them how to do medical work. They taught her to nurse the sick and give injections, what medicines to give for different sicknesses, how to clean and bandage wounds. All this would be important for her to know when she began the work in the slums.MOTHER TERESA’S MINISTRY AND SPREADING THE AROMA OF JESUS’LOVE:- MOTHER TERESA finished the nursing training she returned to Calcutta in December 1948, and she got Indian citizenship as she wanted the country of the people she served to be her own. Mother Teresa went out for the first time to Taltala and began visiting families and poor those were on the street. She went to the pan bagan, Motihil and Tiljala slums, doing what she could to relieve the sufferings of the poor. The poverty and suffering she saw in the slums was dreadful. She cleaned and bandaged wounds and gave medicines to those she could. She understood that these people could be made happy if God entered their lives more fully. By the first week of January 1949, Mother Teresa had opened a dispensary and a school in Motihil with the help of volunteers. Her first class room was under a tree and they used the ground for a blackboard. How happy the children were able to go to school. In the meantime, Mother Teresa needed to find her own place to stay. It was difficult to stay and to be alone. Sometimes she wanted to go back to Loreto. But then she remembered her promise to God and that gave her courage. At last she found a place at 14 creeks Lane, on the upper floor of a house belonging to the Gomes brothers. She moved there in February1949.On 7 October 1950, Archbishop Perier formally established the small community of the Missionaries of charity as a religious congregation in the archdiocese of Calcutta. The work for the poorest of the poor began to grow. Mother Teresa and her young companions carried Jesus as he had asked into the “Dark and Unhappy Homes” of the poor, bringing hope and joy into their lives. Mother Teresa opened centers where the poor could receive food and medicines and started more schools for the poor children in the slums. For mother Teresa, each person was Jesus, even though sometimes He was not very recognizable. She often reminded her sisters of Jesus’ words from the Gospel, “whatever you did to the least of my brothers, you did to me.In the 1950’s, thousands of people lived and died on the streets of Calcutta. The sisters would often find people with full of worms or their bodies eaten by rats, dying alone and uncared for. Mother Teresa wanted a home where she could bring these sick and dying people and care for them so that they could die with dignity and in peace in God. The city cooperation of Calcutta gave her the use of one of the shelters for pilgrims at the kali temple. On 22 august 1952, mother Teresa opened the first home for the dying in kalighat and named it “Nirmal Hriday” which means “Pure Heart”. One of the patients there said, “I have lived like an animal in the street, but I am going to die like an Angel. In their visits to the slums, mother Teresa and her sisters found children suffering from malnutrition because their parents were so poor and didn’t have food. They also found children who were orphaned. Seeing the need of these little ones, mother Teresa opened a home to care for them- this was the first SHISU BHAVAN. Once she met a rich business man for getting helps for the shisu bhavan children, but the rich man spit on her hands, then she said to him that this is for me’ will you give something for these poor children, the rich man broke in spirit and fell on her knees and asked for pardon and provided all needs for the shisu bhavan. She later started a center for leprosy patients were they could receive medicine and treatment. By 1953, the number of sisters has increased so much that there was not enough space in the 14 creeks lane house. Mother Teresa obtained a bigger house, and this house became the mother house of the missionaries of charity and thousands of girls have lived, prayed and trained to become sisters there since then. Many houses were opened throughout India and from India to more than 120 countries of the world.When mother Teresa was 73 years old, she fell from bed and they took her to hospital and discovered that she had a serious heart problem and had to receive a pacemaker. As soon as she knew there were poor people suffering in some part of the world because of disease, war earthquake, floods or famine, she was there to offer help. It did not matter what caste, religion, or nationality the people were- she saw every one as a child of God and as her brother or sister. As mother Teresa got older, her health continued to get worse and worse. She wanted another sister to take over as head of the missionaries of charity on March13 1997, sister nirmala m.c was elected to be her successor as Superior General. Mother Teresa was filled with joy to give her blessing to sister Nirmala and to be freed from such a great responsibilities. The mother Teresa went home with the Lord Jesus whom she loved so much and served him with great love to spread his aroma of love. The government of India honored her with a state funernal on 13 September1997. Her body was buried in mother house, on her tomb were engraved the words of Jesus, “Love one another as I have loved you”. This is what Mother Teresa did all through her life.

 COME TO PENIEL

Dear children of God, today let us go to the place called PENIEL, there Jacob was blessed, where he had a great transformation in his life. PENIEL means that I have seen God face to face and yet my life has been delivered. In Hebrew, PENIEL means seeing God face to face. The place PENIEL is situated north to Yapok River, and 40 miles away from North East of Jerusalem. When Jacob had went to Laban his uncle’s house, with emptied hands. But now he has two camps, two wives, two maid servants and eleven children. Jacob was blessed in that place, a great transformation took in his life, and he has prepared to reconcile with his brother Esau. So, he crossed the river with his two wives, two maid servants and 11 children. He was left alone in that place, where God intervened with Jacob, and he encountered with God face to face.

 PENIEL is the place where we encounter God face to face and our lives will be changed as a new creature. That is what happened in Jacob’s life. In that place the fear of the Lord God was engulfed Jacob, because he has to confessed his sins, what he had hidden from the face of his father Isaac. Now he had encountered God face to face, God asked him that what your name is. He could not hide before the face of God. Here he answered that lord I am Jacob the cheater. In PENIEL God had changed his name, his life, and his character. Dear brothers and sisters if you come to PENIEL, you have to meet God face to face, then you have to confess your sins which you cannot hide from his presences. There he will forgive your sins and bless you and call you by new name. The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my father and before angels. Jacob’s name was changed into Israel means you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed. Jacob has prepared to meet his brother Esau with gifts and appease him for reconciliation .Jacob, in the womb he took his brother by the heel, and in his manhood he strove with God. He strove with angel and prevailed; he wept and sough his favor. Jacob said, I will not let you go unless you bless me, and there he blessed him, so Jacob called the name of the place PENIEL, saying, I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.

Dear friends, are you left out alone like Jacob? Are you afraid of your future and facing problems like Jacob? Are you not getting sleep during nights engulfed with anxieties? Please come to Peniel, empty yourself before God, and confess your sins and he will ready to forgive sins and change your life new like Jacob’s. Just cling to God who bless you; sure he will bless you and make you a channel of blessing to others. Everybody must have the turning point in our life like Jacob had in his life. Peniel is a turning point in our life.  It is a meeting place with God who knows our weakness, failures, shortcomings and sins. Only thing is to empty ourselves, and to confess our sins and failures. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He will bless us then there in Peniel. Jacob had enjoyed happiness and reconciliation. He was transformed with new name of Israel a prince of God. Let us go to Peniel and be transformed as blessings. Dear children of God, today I want to introduce a pious woman whom loved God and his servants and she ministered unto them by her wealth called LYDIA. First time she heard the good news of Jesus and opened her heart to that good news in the riverside of city Phillip by Apostle Paul. She lived in the city of LYDIA H  So, she was called by the name of Lydia. Thyatira is a part of Lydia h  She came from Thyatira and lived in Lydia h where she did the work of spinning the purple goods and a seller of purple goods. She was wealthy lady and who was a worshiper of God. She had servants in her house and lived in a wealthy big house.
Commonly people from trade or business won’t get time to seek God and involve in the God’ ministries. But, Lydia gave time to worship God and to attend prayer meeting at the riverside of Phillip city, even though she was a busy purple seller in the city. The prayer meeting was conducted at the riverside, because there was no synogue in the city. There are few Jews in the city, it was a Roman colony.  God knew her heart longings and he send Silas and Paul to this Phillip city. Whenever Silas and Paul gather for prayers at the riverside of the city, Paul used to preach the word of God. Lydia had listened to the word of God and he opened her heart to the good news of Jesus. Jesus had entered into the heart of Lydia and she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and Lord.Through her faith in Jesus, she and her household people saved by the grace of God. Lydia was the first baptized believer in European continent. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul. And after she was baptized, and her household as well, she urged Silas and Paul, saying, if you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay. Her house becomes a house of God for worship. Lydia who has labored with Paul side by side in the gospel together with clement and the rest of Paul’s fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life?Lydia, along with the business of selling purple goods, she did ministry of God by serving and helping servants of God. She spent her wealth for proclaiming the good news to the peoples those who were not heard. Like Lydia, let us first open our hearts to the good news of Jesus and ready to spend our wealth and money for his kingdom to be established.  Whatever business or any other work or job we do, doesn't matter let us walk and live with pure heart to be a witness of Jesus. Like Lydia, let others see Jesus in our life. Dear brothers and sisters let us open our heart to Jesus and serve him with pure heart and let us stand in the beautiful lane of saints before the throne of God to serve him day and night. Dear children of God, this topic matters so many people in all over the world. The word DIVORCE’ affects many family lives. The lack of love, breaking the covenant, misunderstanding, unfaithful and dissatisfactions are the main reasons of divorce in the family lives. From the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flash. So, they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together let not man separate. Family life is a happy and blessed life. But instead of happiness, families indulge with sorrows, bitterness, enmity, and strife, fits of anger, rivalries, traitor and sexual immorality, impurity, and sensuality.
One day a lady of 30 years of old came to Dr. George grain, a journalist and minister of God, to complain about her husband. She wanted to have divorce from her husband, as he is good for nothing. She made complained thousand and one things about her husband. And she wanted to divorce him, before that she wanted to take revenge against him. She told that I will give him maximum troubles before I get divorce from him. Dr. George grain was patiently listen to her about her complains and he said to her, may I give you some advice? Pleas3e try to do it before you get divorce from your husband. She had agreed to do it according to his advice.  He said that you might have given him, more troubles and tribulations. Now you go to your house and act before him, as she is more affectionate. You act and say to him that how he is more pleasing and loving person in the world.Each and every thing of his doings you just appreciate him, and say how he loves her and her children. Every time you humble yourselves and obey, and you too show your love and pleasing manners. By your love, you make known to him that without her he cannot live in this world. Suddenly one day you put a bomb and bombard and say to him, I am going to divorce you.  That is the good thing to avenge him. This idea was very apt to avenge her husband, so she went with anger to avenge her husband.Truly she was acted lovingly to her husband as he said. She showed her husband, love and concern for two months. She has listened to him and obeyed him, without any arguments. She gave him what he wanted, and humbled her in all her ways. After, two months, she did not turn back to the Dr. GEORGE GRAIN; so, he communicated to her through phone and asked that are you ready to divorce her husband? What? Divorce! No! No! Now truly I love my husband ever before.  Now we both are very happy and enjoying life ever before. Truly she had acted only to her husband, but that very action brought great change in the life her husband. Now the love that which was dead become resurrected in both of them and the true relationship sprang up in them. Dear friends, now days, many families are broken and the relationship between husband and wife become a question. So, the divorce became familiar and fashionable in the modern society. Wife and husband are complaining each other about wrong relationship with other persons, dating with others, misunderstandings, and indulge with wrong habits. These are many reasons bring breaks in the families and they started to lack joy and happiness. If you find out many weakness and short comings, and sins from your partner, try to accept them as they are and love them as Christ loved you and forgave your sins. Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you , so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts and minds to which indeed you were called in one body. Above all, love one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Likewise, wife, be subject to your own husband, so that even if some do not obey God’s word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wife, When they see your respectful and pure conduct. Do not let your adorning be external- the braiding of hair and the putting of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear- but let adoring be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. For this is how holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord.
Dear brothers and sisters, our family should be a happy family and be an exemplary family in loving and caring each other. God wants us to love each other not before marriage, but after marriage. Before marriage some people may say that I will sacrifice myself for you, and do anything for you. [These are cine dialogues] what really wanted after marriage they won’t do it, so, there arises problems and divorces. Stop talking about each other’s weakness, shortcomings, and sins. Try to love and forgive each other as Christ did for us. Then happiness spring in families and the word divorce vanish away. If you are ready to love and forgive your partner, then happiness will spring in your family and divorce will vanish.  With love of God, you can share your joy and happiness in your family with your friends and relatives.
