STAY AWAKE
Dear children of God,
let us be vigilant, and stay awake for the adversary is ready to devour God’s
children. We have come to the end of the age and ready to meet our Lord and
master Jesus Christ, who is going to come soon. He is going to give the reward
according to our deeds. Jesus said that let the evildoer still do evil, and the
filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still
are holy. Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay
everyone for what he has done. Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on
what day your Lord is coming. But concerning that day and hour no one knows,
not even the angels of heaven, nor the son, but the Father only. For as were
the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the man. For as in those days before
flood they were eating and drinking and giving in marriage, until the day when
Noah enter the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them
all away, so will be the coming of the son of man.
FAITHFUL
AND WISE SERVANT:- God wants us to
faithful and wise servant to stay awake. If we stay awake to do his will, then
we can receive the reward. He says that I will pay the recompense with me, the
reward according
to your deeds. Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has
set over his house hold, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is
that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to
you, he will set over him over all his possession. But if that wicked servant
says to himself, My Master is delayed’, and begins to beat his fellow servants
and eats and drinks with drunkards, the
master of that servant will come on a day
when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not and will cut him
in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place, there will be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.
FAITHFUL
AND WISE STEWARD:- Let us stay awake to give accounts to the Lord who ask for
it to give away the recompense and pay the rewards. Lord and master of the house
who called his stewards; and entrusted to them his property. To one he gave
five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability.
Then he went away. He who had received the one talent went and dug in the
ground and hid his master’s money. Now after a long time the master of those
stewards came and settled accounts with them. And he who had received the five
talents came forward, bringing five talents more. His mater said to him, well
done, good and faithful steward. You have been faithful over a little; I will
set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master. And he also who had the
two talents came forward, saying, Master, you delivered to me two talents; here
I have made two talents more. His master said to him, well done, good and
faithful steward. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over
much. Enter into the joy of your master. He also who had received the one
talent came forward, saying , Master, I knew
you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where
you scattered no seed, so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the
ground. Here you have what is yours. But his master answered him, you wicked
and slothful steward! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather
where I scattered no seed? Then you ought to have invested my money with the
bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest.
So take the talent from him and give it to him who has ten talents. For to
everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from
the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the
worthless steward into the outer darkness. In that place, there will be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.
