JACOB [CHEATER]JACOB[ CHEATER] HOSEA: 12:2 –The Lord has an indictment against Judah and will punish Jacob according to his ways; he will repay him according to his deeds. Dear children of God today our question is how can a sinner become a God chosen people? I have loved you,” says the Lord. But you say, how have you loved us?” “Is not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the lord. Yet I have loved Jacob but I have hated Esau. Jacob had the Cheating character [indulge in sins] but God changes the character who seeks God with whole heart. Jacob’s cheating character changed into God’s chosen people. Jacob became Israel. Whenever we do confess our sins and seek God, with the whole heart and mind. our sinful nature changes into Godly and saintly. God loves the sinner but not the sins and sinful ways. Here God says that I will punish Jacob according to his ways. The cheater will be cheated. In Jacob’s life Ten times he was cheated by his father-in-law, because he cheated his brother twice. His longing was to receive Father’ first born rights and his blessings. By cheating anybody gets blessings will not last, because he or she must go through and face many kind of problems in his or her life. Jacob went through that kind of experience in his whole life. When his father Isaac asked Jacob what is your name? And he answered and said my name is Esau your first born. The second time God asked Jacob the same question, what is your name? Here Jacob answered and said to God, “Jacob” the cheater. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.[1john1;9] Then God said, your name shall no longer called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed. Then Jacob said, I will not let you go unless you bless me and there he blessed him. In family life anybody cheats others that break the relationship and family fellowship and earns enmity. To get worldly blessings he cheated his own brother twice. By greediness and envy he earned his father’s blessings, but he wandered like a vagabond. God did righteousness to Jacob and what he sowed, he reaped. Jacob realized about his cheating character and he found out that cheating others will not be useful in his life. So he ready to surrender his life to God to get forgiveness and receiving heavenly blessings. Jacob wrestled with God and his fervent prayers brought him blessings. Fervent prayer changes things upside down. Brother Esau’s enmity changed and he was reconciled with him with gifts. Dear brothers and sisters let us consider ourselves whether we cheat others for our worldly blessings. If we do cheat others, sure we will get recompense from our God. Like Jacob we confess our sins and surrender ourselves into God’s hand to receive God’s blessings. Cheater became a great God chosen nation and a channel of blessings to others. God loved Jacob because he surrenders himself to God and wrestled with God to get his heavenly blessings. Fervent prayers bring God‘s blessings. But now hear, O Jacob my servant, Israel whom I have chosen! Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you; Fear not, O Jacob my servant, ’Jeshurun whom I have chosen. For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my spirit upon your offspring, and my blessings on your descendants.[Is44:1-3] Dear children of God, if you are blessed by this message, kindly introduce to your friends and relatives. HOSEA: 12:2 –The Lord has an indictment against Judah and will punish Jacob according to his ways; he will repay him according to his deeds.

Here God says that I will punish Jacob according to his ways.

The cheater will be cheated. In Jacob’s life Ten times he was cheated by his father-in-law, because he cheated his brother twice.
