WHO ARE THESE?[ ALL SAINTS DAY]
Dear children of God, a great multitude that no could
number, standing before the throne of God and before the Lamb. Today we are
going to remember our fore fathers and saints of God who were walked before the
Lord. They are standing in the beautiful lane, standing before the Lamb of God,
clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. They fell on their
face before the throne and around the elders and worshiped God, saying, Amen! Blessing
and glory and wisdom and knowledge and thanksgiving and honor and power and
might be to our God forever and ever! Amen. One day we are going to join the
beautiful lane along with all saints. We are going to fall on our face before
the throne of God and lamb, saying, Salvation belongs to our God who sits on
the throne, and to the Lamb.
WHO ARE THESE? Saints are washed by the blood of Jesus, sanctified
and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of God. The
blood of Jesus his son cleanses us from all sin. If we say, we have no sin, we
deceive ourselves, and truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness. Joshua was standing
before the angel, clothed with filthy garments, and to him he said, ‘I have
taken your iniquity away from you, and I will clothe you with pure vestments. They
have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Our sinful
nature and sinful characters all ought to cleanse by the blood of Jesus. Our
marred image of God and the sinful filthy garment have to wash and have to make
them white in the blood of the Lamb. Come now, let us reason together, says the
Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though
they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. If you are willing and
obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you
shall be eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken. Saints are these
ones coming out of the great tribulation. Today we may face many troubles and
sufferings and tribulations, but one day we are going to stand before the
throne of God and the Lamb of God. Our Lord Jesus is going to welcome us and
saying,’ come you who are blessed by my father, inherit the kingdom prepared
for you from the beginning [foundation] of the world.
WHAT ARE THE BLESSINGS THEY RECEIVE? 1. Saints, therefore are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple. This was the longing of King David, one thing have I asked of the Lord, and that will I seek after; that may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. Surly goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of God forever.2. He who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. 3. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, or any scorching heat.4. The Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their Shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water. 5. God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth. They will bring the glory and honor of the nations into it. But nothing unclean will ever enter it, or anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

THE JOY OF THE LORD [ NEHEMIAH]
JOY OF THE LORD [NEHEMIAH]
Dear children of God, today we are going to follow the examples of a man of prayer, and how he had done great things for God and his temple. He was a trust worthy and loyal to the King Artaxerxes and a cup bearer. Nehemiah did what God had put in his heart and found that the joy of the Lord was his strength. The joy of the Lord urged him to accomplish great things for God and searched the welfare for the remnant people and the temple of God. The joy of the Lord comes from the presence of God. He was faithful and loyal to God, so God entrusted him great task of rebuilt the house of God and the walls of Jerusalem. He was a trust worthy and loyal to God and man. So he found favors in the eyes of God and man.
JOY IN PRAYER: - Nehemiah was well settled in Susan, as a
cup bearer. But he had the news of Jerusalem’s ruin and its people’s critical
and bad conditions. As soon as he heard these words, he sat down, wept and
mourned for days, and he continued in fasting and praying before the God of
heaven. He was confessing the sins of the people of Israel, which they have
sinned against the God of heaven. Nehemiah prayed and said, that O lord, let
your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your
servants who delight to fear your name and presence, and give success to your
servant today, and grain him mercy in the sight of this man. God had granted
mercy and favor in the sight of the King Artaxerxes. The King said to him, “Why
is your face sad, seeing you are not sick? There is nothing but sadness of the
heart. Why should not my face be sad, when the city, the place of my father’s
graves, lies in ruins and its gates have been destroyed by fire? The king
granted him what he had asked, for the good hand of his God was upon him. The prayer
was joy of the Lord for Nehemiah, gave him strength to do his God’s work.
JOY IN DOING GOD’S WORK: - Nehemiah went to Judah and inspects
Jerusalem’s walls. Task of the Lord was great, but he had joy to accomplish God’s
plan and purpose. Then he said to the remnant people, you see the trouble we
are in, ‘how Jerusalem lies in ruins with its gates burned. Come, let us build
the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer suffer derision. He told them of
the hand of God that had been upon him for good, and also of the words that the
King had spoken to him. They said, ‘let us rise and build’ so they strengthened
their hands for the good works. He had opposition in his works. When Sanballat
heard that they were building the walls, he was angry and greatly enraged, and
he jeered at the Jews and said, what are these feeble Jews doing? Will they
restore bit for themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they finish up in a day? Will
they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, and burned ones at that? Nehemiah
had encouraged the nobles, officials and to the peoples and said to them, the
work is great and widely spread, do not afraid them. Remember the Lord, who is
great and awesome, and fight for you. When his enemies heard that it was known
to them and that God had frustrated their plan, they all returned to the wall,
each to their work. Nehemiah had the joy of doing God’ work and he had finished
the works in the midst of obstacles and conspiracy. Now the rebuild works and
the wall were finished, when all their enemies heard of it, all the nations
around them were afraid and fell greatly in their own esteem, for they
perceived that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God.
JOY IN SHARING: - All the people were gathered as one man into the square before the Water gate. Ezra brought the law book and read from it, and all the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law. Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and Levi ties who taught the people and said to them, this day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn or weep. For all people wept as they heard the words of God. Then he said to them, go your way. Eat the fat and drink the sweet wine and sent portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. All the people went their way to eat and drink and to send portions and to make great rejoicing, because they had understood the words that were declared to them. All the assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths and lived in booths, and there was very great rejoicing. At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they brought them to celebrate the dedication with gladness, with thanksgiving and with singing. They offered great sacrifices that day and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and children also rejoiced. The joy of Jerusalem was heard far away.
Dear friends let us have the joy of the Lord in our life. Do
you want to receive the joy of the Lord in prayers? Do have you the joy of the
Lord in doing his ministry? Do you want
to have the joy of the Lord in sharing gifts and good news with others? Like Nehemiah
let us have the joy in the presence of God by praying for other’s betterment
and welfare. Let us have the joy in doing his great task to rebuild the ruined
society and peoples. Let us have joy in share our welfare and good news with
anyone who has nothing. Let us find out the strength in the joy of the Lord. Friends
if you are blessed with the joy of the Lord, kindly share with your friends and
relatives and let me know your comments send to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah857@yahoo.com,

COMMANDMENTS
COMMANDMENTS
Dear friends, let us learn the
God’s commandments and know the meanings and obey the commandments. God gave Ten
Commandments to Israel people and made a covenant with his people. First, first
God had given only one commandment to Adam and eve to obey. God had expected to
obey the commandment, but they have failed. So the relationship between God and Adam
and eve were broken. In the Eden itself God had planned a great salvation plan
by calling Adam, where are you? He gave them dress to cover their nakedness.
God said to the serpent, I will put enmity between you and woman, and between
your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall
bruise his hell. To save the humanity, God had called Abraham and made his
covenant with him and his offspring. When the people of Israel went to Egypt,
God remembered his covenant with Abraham and brought them out of Egypt, and
promised them the land of milk and honey. On the way to inherit the Promised
Land, God again made covenant with the people of Israel and gave Ten
Commandments through Moses.
Ten Commandments depict in two places in the bible,
exodus20:1-17, deuteronomy5:6-21.1.
I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of
the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods
before me.2.
You shall not make for yourself a carved image,
or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth,
or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or
serve them, for I am the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity
of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those
who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and
keep my commandments.3.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God
in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his names in vain.4.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six
days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to
the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, your son, or your
daughter, your male servant or your female servant, or your livestock, or the
sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and
earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day.
Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.5.
Honor your father and your mother that your days
may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.6.
You shall not murder.7.
You shall not commit adultery.8.
You shall not steal.9.
You shall not bear false witness against your
neighbor.10.
You shall not covet your neighbor’s house, you
shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant or his female
servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.
The first part of Ten Commandments are from 1to 4, and it’s
explains that what we have to do for God and obey his words. The duty is of a
man towards God. The meaning of the duty
is to serve and love the Lord our God with our whole heart, mind and soul. The
second part of Ten Commandments are from 5 to 10, and it’s explains that what
we have to do for man. The duty is of a man towards man. The meaning of the
duty is to serve and love the man [human beings].
Jesus Christ gave two commandments, and the bible depicts in two places, Mathew 22:37-40, Mark 12:29-31, it’s called as Great Commandments.1. Hear O, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with your entire mind and with all your strength.
2. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. Here Jesus explains the Ten Commandments in to two parts. First and most important is to love and serve the Lord our God with our whole heart, soul, mind and strength. The second one is to love our neighbor, is to do our duty to serve the human being with love as ourselves. Jesus gave a New Commandment to his disciples to follow. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; just as I have loved you; you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
Dear friends, commandments are
given to obey and follow. So that let us obey and receive the blessings from
our God. Blessings are given on conditions only. Observe and obey, you will
receive the blessings. The commandment is an order, so we have to obey the
order without questioning. Loving God is to give priority and first place to
God in our life. Loving mankind is to serve and help them without partiality.
Mother Teresa was moved with compassion, when she saw the Lepers, orphans, and
dust pin’s babies. She said that when I see these people, I see them as my Lord
and savior Jesus with need of help and love. Loving the Lord is by keeping the
commandments. By serving the human beings, we can show the love of God. God is
love. For God so loved world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes
to him should not perish but have eternal life.
God did not send his son, into the world to condemn the world but in
order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned. Let
us love God and keep his commandments, and serve the mankind by love and
receive the eternal life. Dear friends, if you are blessed by God’s
commandments, obey and keep it and receive the blessings and share with your
friends and relatives, and a word to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com, revsjc12@hotmail.com, johnchelliah857@yahoo.com,

WAITING
WAITING
Dear friends, waiting is naturally very
hard, but we have to have good things in our life, we need waiting. Waiting is
not wasting, but it is a wonderful experience.
We have to wait for many things, even for drinking coffee in the morning
need to wait for milkman to come and deliver milk. Somebody wait for bus; wait
for to get good result, good job, wedding, and child and so on. Someone wait
for good time. Our world is very fast.
Technically we are moving very fast. Within a minute we can reach the world’s
other end through the World Wide Web [internet] but the God’s word says that
‘wait’. Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for
the Lord. David says that I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me
and heard my cry.
WAIT FOR PROMISE TO FULFILL: - if you
wait for the Lord then he will fulfill his promises. Those who wait for me shall
not be put to shame, and then you will know that I am the Lord. When God made a
promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by
himself, saying, surely I will bless you and multiply you. And thus Abraham,
having patiently waited, obtained the promise. He had to wait to get promised
Isaac; he waited for twenty five years. Israel people had waited forty years to
reach the Promised Land which flows with milk and honey. Jesus promised to
send, the comforter [HOLY SPIRIT] the disciples waited at Jerusalem in an upper
room with prayers. There suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty
rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided
tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested, and they were all filled with
the Holy Spirit. Waiting in the feet of our Lord is not wasting or vain, it’s a
fulfilling promise of the Lord, and so we never go shame.
2.
WAIT FOR NEW STRENGTH AND POWER: - in
our spiritual life we need new strength and power to bear witness. We need heavenly power and strength to go
forward and to resist the evils and Satan. To conqueror the problems and
battles, we need power and strength. Without strength we cannot conqueror the
evils and devils’ battles. God is calling us to renew our strength and power,
by saying Awake, awake, put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful
garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city. Jesus, Elijah, Moses all was fasted 40
days on the presence of God and they renewed their strength to do God’s
ministry. We need heavenly power and strength to conqueror. We need the power
of Holy Spirit to help and guidance. So wait in the presence of Jesus to
fulfill the promise of God. Jesus ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem,
but to wait for the promise of the father, which he said.
3.
WAIT FOR GOD’S LEADING: - The Lord went
before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by
night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and
night. When Israel people travelled towards the land of cannon, the cloud of
pillar of God led them before the people. The pillar of cloud has rested on the
tabernacle along with the Israel’ camp. If the cloud rested then the people of Israel
will stay and wait for the cloud to rise, the people start for travel, whether
day or night. The God’s leading was how wonderful. When God had anointed Saul
as the first King in Israel, he has given counsel to wait for seven days and
according to the counsel of God he had waited for him and he was successes. After
in his ruling he did not ask the guidance of God to lead his life, but he went
to seek the witchcraft’s woman for his guidance. That led him to ruin his
kingdom and ruling. God had given Saul and his family in the hands of philistines.
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. Dear
friends, until God’s way to open please wait for it. Surely God will lead you
life even in the wilderness and all situations.
4.
BLESSINGS FOR WAITING:- 1. From of old no one has heard or perceived
by the ear, no eyes have seen a God besides you, who acts for those who wait
for him. Mary had waited on the Lord Jesus’ feet and chosen good portion.2. The
greatest gift to the people those who wait upon the Lord are salvation. Do not
say, I will repay evil, wait for the Lord, and he will save you. We need to
wait in the lord’s feet and pray, he will save our family, children, and our
friends and relatives. When peter was drowning in the water, he called and
said, Lord save me, suddenly Jesus stretched his hand and lifted him up from
drowning. Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save. Jacob said,
I wait for your salvation, O lord.3.those who waits for the lord shall renew
their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and
not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.4. Those who wait for me shall not
be put to shame, and then you will know that I am the Lord.5. behold, the eyes
of the lord is on those who fear him, on those who wait in his stead fast love,
that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. 6. for
the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the lord shall inherit
the land. Dear friends wait upon the Lord God to inherit the God’s blessings. If
you are blessed kindly share with your friends and relatives, and send your
comments to my email ID. revsjc@gmail.com,

CAST DOWN& TURMOIL
CAST DOWN&TURMOIL
Dear children
of God, why do you cast down and in turmoil? Come out of it and seek the
guidance of our Lord Jesus. He will help you find a way out. Cast down and turmoil will not leave anybody,
whether he is King or any ordinary man or woman. Cast down and turmoil did not
leave King David. He speaks to himself
that why are cast down, o my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? No one
should cast down David because he was a great valor. But the words of the
people cast down him and his soul. As with a deadly wound in my bones, my
adversaries taunt me, while they say to me all the day long, where is your God?
David found out three ways out for cast
down and turmoil.1.hope in God and wait for him.2. Remember your God.3.oh my
soul praise him. Today you may be cast down and mingled with all kinds of
problems. You may say why these things happened in my family? Just follow three
ways out for your cast down and turmoil. Dear children, when you cast down just
cling to God, sure he will change the situations and problems. Let not your
hearts be troubled. Believe in God, and believe also in me, said Jesus.1.
Because of sins: - man is cast down
because of his sins. There is no peace, “says my God, “For wicked”. The reasons for the cast down and turmoil are
sins, wickedness and transgressions. Many without fearing God and obeying his
words, they are doing sins daringly so their conscious pricks and brings cast
down in their heart. When King David did
sin with Beersheba the prophet Nathan came and reminded his sin against God and
Beersheba. Those words of God made him
to cast down and turmoil within his heart. So, what did David do? He has
confessed his sins before the Lord God to get forgiveness and peace of mind.
For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against you, you
only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be
justified in your words and blameless in your judgment. Cast me not away from
your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Jesus Christ has
authority to forgive our sins. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
2.
Because of sickness: - like a swallow or
a crane I chirp; I morn like a dove, my eyes are weary with looking upward, o
lord, I am oppressed; be my pledge of safety. This cast down and turmoil words
came out of King Hezekiah. Because of his sickness, death point of sickness. Isaiah
the prophet said to him,” thus says the Lord: set your house in order, for you
shall die, you shall not recover. Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and
prayed and said, ‘please o lord, remember how I have walked before you in
faithfulness and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in your sight. Hezekiah
wept bitterly with cast down and turmoil. God heard his tearful prayer and gave
fifteen years with his age, the same God with us to hear our prayers in our
sickness and death near bed. Don’t be cast down and turmoil. He took our
illness and bore our diseases. Upon him was the chastisement that brought us
peace, and with his strips we are healed.
3.
Because of works of devil: - the reason
the son of God appeared was to destroy the works of devil. Some time devil will
attack people strait way, otherwise he will attack through some people
indirectly. We no need to afraid or cast down, because one who defeated devil
on the cross, Jesus Christ is with us to protect us from his attacks and deceits.
The one who cast down and troubling you will bear the penalty, whosoever he is.
Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes
of the devil. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to
withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore,
having fastened on the belt of sword of spirit, which is the word God.

4.
Dear brothers and sisters, today many in
cast down and turmoil states because of their day today problems, they have
faced. Jesus said, don’t be anxious about tomorrow. Let us learn to lay our
burdens, cast down and turmoil in the feet of Jesus. Cast your burdens on the
Lord, he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. Dear
friends if you have learned to cast your burdens cast down and turmoil on the
lord and you will never be moved. If you are blessed share with others and send

DISCIPLESHIP
DISCIPLESHIP
Dear friends,
being a disciple to Jesus is a most privileged one. Let us learn the
discipleship from our Lord
Jesus Christ, who is our great teacher and master. Jesus said that “if any one comes to me does
not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and
sisters, yes, even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. Whosoever does not
bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple. Disciple has some qualification
to follow and become disciple to Jesus. Here Jesus explains that if anyone
follows Jesus should hate his father and mother and himself or herself. That
means leaving everything and lives as a hermit or sanniyasi. The meaning of
disciple is giving priority to the master or to teacher to follow him. The
first place must be given to our master lord Jesus Christ. To become a disciple
is to bear the cross that means to bear the sufferings and blames and harsh
words for Christ’s sake. Without bearing the cross [suffering for his sake]
anyone cannot be a disciple.
Jesus said to
them, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Jesus called them to
follow him. The first thing in discipleship is to follow Jesus Christ. Then obey
the words to serve him. If we want to serve and do ministry, then we have to
obey his calling. Peter and John, when they heard the calling of Jesus they
have left their nets and boats and they have followed him.
Next thing in
the discipleship is to be strong in our decision. Decision making is taking
more importance in our calling, obeying, setting priorities and following
Jesus. To serve and do his ministry we have to stand firm in our decision. Once
we decide to follow Jesus, then no turning back, if we face difficulties,
sufferings and any other disgrace. Decision taking is very simple, but to stand
firm in our decision is very hard and temptation. When we take decision in our calling
that will never fail, because one who called us for his ministry is faithful.
Other day Ruth took decision to follow her mother-in-law and she stood still. That firm decision became a turning point in her life and it became good thing in her life. She decided to follow Naomi who was worshiping the God of Israel. She wanted to follow Naomi and wanted to live her and decided to follow her God of Israel. Ruth said, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people and your God my God. Where you die, and there will I be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts from you? Ruth found the living God and she decided to go after and follow the God of Israel, no turning back. Naomi understood Ruth’s not turning back decision. One who decided to follow Christ must take not turning back decision. Jesus said,” no one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the Kingdom of God.
Discipleship is
not a bed of roses, but it’s to follow Christ in the midst of thorns and pricking. Paul explains his experience about his discipleship.
I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may
finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to
testify to the gospel of the grace of God. When people were face suffering and hardship in
the discipleship, people runaway from the Lord, who called them and appointed
them in the ministry. Let us decide to
follow Jesus and decide to faithful in our calling, and discipleship. Lord we
will follow you in our hardship and suffering. This is our strong decision Oh
Lord., kindly strengthen us to be strong in our decisions. So we should be a
strong witness to you. Lord when I strong
in my calling and discipleship, then I can win more souls for God. Lord helps
me to do your ministry, even in the midst of thorns and pricking.

Let us sing the song I have decided to follow Jesus; I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back. The cross is before me, the world is behind me, no turning back no turning back. Let us march forward, and carry the banner of cross and tell that we have decided to follow Jesus and no turning back. Dear friends if you are decided to take the banner of cross and discipleship,
